Drake has opened up on his Grammy win, expressing surprise One Dance featuring Wizkid & Kyla wasn't nominated while Hotline bling won the awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Performance, even though it features no rap.
In an interview on last night’s episode of OVO Sound Radio, he addressed his surprising Grammys victory.
Lekki Gardens Boss, 5 others charged with manslaughter over collapsed building
The Lagos State Government has filed criminal charges against the Managing Director of Lekki Gardens Estate Limited, Richard Nyong, and five others, for the collapse of a five-storeyed building under construction.
No fewer than 35 persons died in March 2015 when the building collapsed on Kushenla Road, in the Ikate Elegushi area of the state.

Lagos Task force officials batter LASU student for videoing operation
A 500-level part-time Business Administration student of the Lagos State University is battling with a broken arm and injuries allegedly inflicted on her face by operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit.
The student, 28-year-old Sewuese Matthew, was reportedly battered for using her foster sister’s mobile phone to video the operation of the officials on Durosimi-Etti Drive, in the Lekki Phase 1 area of the state.
The foster sister, Lilian Ifemeludike, told PUNCH Metro that she was also assaulted by the task force men.
Housemaid disappears with Ghanaian family’s daughter in Lagos
An housemaid identified as a 12-year-old Mary reportedly disappear with her boss' daughter Faith Ayeh. The incident happened at the Kudirat Abiola Estate, Akute Road, Iju Ishaga area of Lagos State.
PUNCH Metro reports that Mary had been employed by the family through an agent about five months ago.
Mary was said to be working directly with the woman of the house, Mrs. Glory Ayeh, who had a frozen foods shop on the street.

Gunmen kill 21 in fresh Southern Kaduna attacks

Akwa Savings and Loans sacks 40 staff
The Akwa Savings and Loans Limited, owned by the Akwa Ibom government, said it had disengaged about 40 employees.
The bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ebong Bassey, disclosed this at an interactive session with newsmen in Uyo on Monday.
He said, “We have disengaged 40 of our staff and very soon more than 50 others will also be disengaged.
“This is a move to aggressively restructure the bank and reposition it for global competitiveness.”

Osun court sentenced two men to death by hanging for armed robbery
An Iwo High Court Judge in Osun, Justice Moshood Adeigbe, on Monday sentenced two men, Sunday Ishaih, and his friend, Akeem Lamidi, to death by hanging for armed robbery.
The duo were arraigned earlier on a two-count charge of conspiracy to commit robbery and armed robbery
Adeigbe in his ruling said that the state prosecutor had proven his case beyond any reasonable doubt.
He said that it was established that the duo committed the robbery offences.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has released a new foreign exchange policy in the country with immediate effect.
The new policy is sequel to last Thursday’s directive by the National Economic Council, NEC, for immediate review to stem the widening gap between the inter-bank foreign exchange and parallel market rates.
