Arms Cash Scandal: Obanikoro returns N167 million to FG, vows to pay N417 million more

Ex- Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has returned a fresh sum of N30m to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, with a promise to pay a balance of N417 million.

Tthe former minister has now returned N167 million to the Federal Government.

A reliable source revealed that the former minister paid the money from his Diamond Bank account to the EFCC Recovered Funds Account.

The source stated, “I can confirm that Senator Obanikoro has been meeting up his part of the agreement. You will recall that last year, he promised to return a certain amount of money every quarter.

Pastor Adeboye: Worst leadership is in the church

Expert warns against wrong sleeping position in pregnancy

A gynecologist, Dr Nathaniel Adewole, has warned that sleeping on the back side of the body at advanced stage of pregnancy could predispose a baby to brain problem. Adewole, of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, stated this on Wednesday in Abuja that the problem could occur due to the weight of the uterus. He said that such sleeping positioning by the pregnant mother would make the baby to rest against the big vesicles called inferior vena cava, which supplies blood to the heart.

The inferior vena cava is the large vein that carries de-oxygenated blood from the lower half of the body into the right atrium of the heart. According to him, at the early stage of pregnancy, sleeping position constitutes no much problem; a woman can take any sleeping position that is convenient.

Google has opened a crisis funds worth $4 million for persons affected by Donald Trump's Immigration ban.

According to Billboard, Google has seeded a $2M crisis fund, which they plan to grow to $4M. The fund's purpose is to help organizations dedicated to fighting for immigrant rights. 

They hope that the additional $2M will be raised via donation from its employees.
