Model Karreuche Tran who recently split from Chris Brown after it emerged he'd fathered a nine-month-old daughter, Royal, with their mutual friend Nia Amey last year, has admitted she still has deep feelings for her on-again off-again boyfriend.

Speaking in an interview with life coach Iyanla Vanzant for OWN series 'Iyanla: Fix My Life', she said: ''I still love him. I've changed to help him - go to church, pray, yoga, meditate - if he were to change, we would be in a better place, but that's the problem.''

Neymar parties at Boujis nightclub after victory over Chile at Emirates

Brazilian footballer Neymar celebrated his country's one nil win over Chile at the Emirates stadium by partying at prestigious London club Boujis.

56-year-old man marries 9 year-old

A nine-year-old primary four pupil (name withheld) from Domiento, a farming community in the Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo District of the Northern Region, has been rescued from a forced marriage.

Three persons have since been arrested in connection with the crime, which resulted in a bizarre case of murder in the family.

The terrified young girl is currently in the custody of her biological mother under the supervision of leaders of the community, who have promised to ensure her safety henceforth.

The stepfather of the victim reportedly married her off to his 56-year-old farmer friend in a different community despite fierce resistance from some family members who complained about the 47-year age gap between the ‘husband and wife’.

Katsina State Police Commissioner dies after prolong illness

The Nigeria Police has announced the death of Alhaji Muhammad Hurdi, the Katsina State commissioner of police. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Sadiq announced the demise of Hurdi in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Katsina.

Sadiq said that Hurdi died on March 27, after a protracted illness. The late commissioner joined the service in 1988 as ASP cadet officer and rose through the ranks to the rank of a commissioner.

The PPRO said that Hurdi would be remembered as a patriotic and dedicated officer who gave his best in the service of his fatherland. The Deputy Commissioner of police, Mr Bala Zama Senche, prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest and gave the family fortitude to bear the lost.

Community Chairman in Edo State killed in Election Violence

The Chairman of Obagienevbosa Community in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, Igie Osayande, has been clubbed to death by thugs.

The victim was reportedly shot along with his brother, Igie Obafuedo, said to have been taken to a hospital for medical attention.

The incident was said to have occurred on Saturday during voting at Ward 9, Units 9, 10 and 11 in the community located off Sapele road.

According to an All Progressives Congress agent, the attackers had stormed the voting centre ordering to be accredited, long after accreditation had ended.

Pilot Andreas Lubitz might have been suffering a personal crisis at the time of the fatal Germanwings crash, it was claimed last night. Reports from Germany suggested the 28-year-old was struggling to cope after a failed relationship when he deliberately ploughed the Airbus A320 into the mountainside, killing his 149 passengers.

The theory emerged just hours after police investigating the disaster announced they had made a 'significant discovery' during a four-hour search of Lubitz's flat, which he is said to have shared with a girlfriend. Officers refused to reveal details of the potential breakthrough but insisted it was not a suicide note.

According to the report from LIB, the Arik flight that was scheduled to leave Abuja to Lagos by 2pm today kept being delayed until it was ready to leave by 9pm. When they were ready to go, the flight was overbooked. They sold more tickets than the number of seats that they have, leaving many passengers standing on the plane. In 2015, Arik Air! *sigh*!

Barcelona Midfielder Xavi set to Join Qatari Side Al Sadd

Premier League to share over £1bn from record TV deal

The Premier League has announced that more than £1billion from the recent record-breaking sale of UK live broadcast rights is set to be shared outside the competition between the 2016-17 and 2018-19 seasons.

Last month, it was revealed that Sky Sports and BT Sport had agreed to pay a combined sum of £5.136 billion for the rights to live Premier League football over a three-season period from the season after next.

And the Premier League is now planning to share around 20 per cent of that sum among a range of beneficiaries, providing there is a "satisfactory outcome" to forthcoming international sales and an ongoing regulatory process relating to how the UK rights were sold.

Just few days to the Nigeria Election, there have been a reported bloody arm robber attack in Owo, Ondo State which left not fewer than five persons including a Bank Manager dead as at the time of posting this report.

According to Daily Post, It was a bloody day in ancient town of Owo kingdom, the headquarters of Owo local government area of Ondo State as robbers attacked four banks for hours this evening.

Numbering about seven, it was learnt that the bandits allegedly killed the manager of one of the banks, including seven others, while several were injured.

BREAKING! Germanwing Flight Co-pilot intentionally crashed the plane

According to breaking news report, the co-pilot of the ill-fated Germanwing flight deliberately crashed the plane on March 24th, this is according the chief investigator who just held a press conference explaining what happened. The prosecutor said the Chief pilot asked the co-pilot to take over the controls of the plane so he could go ease himself. 

While alone, the co-pilot locked the door and deliberately manipulated the flight monitoring controls to accelerate the descent of the flight. He refused to open the door of the cockpit to the pilot when he returned and began knocking frantically on the cockpit door. The co-pilot used a button to cause the plane to lose altitude and crash. He never spoke a word during the last 10mins before the plane crashed and didn't respond to air traffic control.
