19 Year Old Nigeria Student in Canada Amina Lawal Missing #HelpFindAmina


A York University student of Nigerian parentage, Amina Lawal, has been missing since her 19th birthday, which was last Friday.

Amina Lawal, a student at York’s Schulich School of Business, was reported missing by her mother on Saturday after she didn’t return home from school on Friday night, CBC News Toronto reports.

Funmiloya Odusola who is Lawal’s mother, stated that Lawal had gone for a school group meeting on Friday, and had called around 6:30 p.m to say she was on her way home, but she never showed up.

Germanwings Plane Crash: Victims Nationalities which include 72 Germans, 35 Spaniards


Germanwings says 150 people were aboard the plane that crashed in the French Alps on Tuesday, but it has not yet given a final toll of the victims' nationalities. The company says it's still trying to reach the relatives of some victims and that the count is complicated because some passengers may have held dual citizenship.

Nigeria close all borders ahead of Presidential Poll on Saturday


Ahead of Nigeria Presidential Poll this Saturday the Ministry of Interior Affairs has announced the closure of all land and sea borders
According to a statement released and signed by the Ministry's permanent secretary, Abubakar Magaji, the closure takes effective from midnight today Wednesday March 25, to midnight Saturday, March 28. The statement says the closure is “to allow for the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming national election". A directive has been given to the Immigration service to ensure that non Nigerians do not participate in the elections. See the letter after the cut.

Zinedine Zidane in Germany to learn from Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola


Real Madrid Castilla manager Zinedine Zidane is currently on a three-day trip to Bayern Munich training facilities and club offices to observe and learn from Munich coach Pep Guardiola. Zidane is one of the seven French coaches to have taken up the trip.

Zidane was joined on Monday by Bordeaux manager Willy Sagnol and former Bastia boss Claude Makelele – who are all looking to obtain their UEFA Pro Level Three Licence. Guy Lacombe, Franck Thivillier, Claude Le Roy and Bernard Diomede are the other managers who have made the trip.

The delegation met up with Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge at the club offices at Säbener Straße and are set to observe Guardiola’s training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Buhari's Legal Law Suit Disqualification postponed till April 22nd




The consolidated suit filed by a group of lawyers challenging the eligibility of APC Presidential candidate, Gen Buhari has been adjourned to April 22nd. 

The case which was to be heard yesterday March 24th was adjourned to today and on getting to the Federal High Court in Abuja this morning, the presiding judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola adjourned the case to April 22nd after dismissing applications by two intended parties to join the suit as defendants.

Ludacris who tied the knot with on-again, off-again girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiengue in January after six years of dating, insists he had no doubts about settling down because he believes a higher power is guiding him and his decision to get married was ''all about timing.''

Kelly Rowland don't want to believe her mom is gone due to the joy of the birth of her son


Kelly Rowland hasn't had time to grieve after her mother's death. Kelly admits her world was turned upside down last year following the birth of her son Titan Jewell in November, when her mother Doris passed away just a month later.

Kamilah Brock is an Island woman  who claims she was drugged and locked in a hospital psych ward for 8 days because a doctor didn't believe Barack Obama followed her on Twitter.

Brock's lawyer told the New York Daily News that the horrible ordeal started last September when the NYPD pulled her over in Harlem and seized her BMW after accusing her of being high on marijuana. Her lawyer says no weed was found in the car.

Brock, 32, says that when she went to the station to get her vehicle back the next day, she was forcibly sedated and sent to Harlem Hospital as an "emotionally disturbed" person. She admits she may have acted emotional, but denies the "disturbed" part.

Unknown Gunmen kill Commissioner’s brother in Rivers State


Gunmen dressed in military uniform killed a relative of the Rivers state Commissioner for Power, Mr Austin Wokocha at the commissioner's home in Okposi Onelga community in Rivers state yesterday Monday March 23rd according to report from LIB

According to Channels TV, the gunmen attacked the homes of the Commissioner and that of an APC Chieftain in the community on Monday night.
