The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the death of five persons in a road traffic accident involving several vehicles on the Benin-Auchi road in Edo, on Saturday.

Mr Bisi Kazeem, FRSC Public Education Officer, disclosed in Abuja that 10 persons were injured in the incident that occurred at the Ewu slope area of the route.

APC says only Buhari’s London doctors can decide when he’ll come back

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it is only the London doctors attending to President Muhammadu Buhari’s health will decide when the President will come back to Nigeria. Presidential jet should be returned to Nigeria – HURIWA

A pro-Democracy and Non-Governmental organization, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has stated that the Presidential jet should not remain with President Muhammadu Buhari in London because it belongs to Nigeria.

The group made the remark while faulting the Presidency over its reason why the Presidential jet was retained in London while Buhari undergoes medical treatment.

The suspect who stays at Evowe Quarters of Ozoro in Isoko North LGA., was paraded alongside 22 suspected kidnappers and three armed at the command headquarters in Asaba yesterday. The External Relations Officer, United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) Nigeria, Mr. Hanson Tamfu, stated this in a statement yesterday.
