Controversial journalist, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo took to her social media pages to blast Biafrans and their leader, Nnamdi Kanu. According to her, what happened in July 1966 is not something anyone will pray for to happen again.

She also said over her dead body will Nigeria be separated. She shared the above throwback photo of her 2009 note book and wrote;

"Had it been Igbos issued the quit on North, Buhari would have ordered mass killing"

The United Eastern Congress Youths have stated that the recent quit notice issued to Igbos residing in the northern region by a coalition of Arewa youths has a political undertone.

The group said that for the Arewa youth leaders that tried to incite ethnic violence to still be working free in the country is enough reason that there is more to the quit notice.

Presidential jet should be returned to Nigeria – HURIWA

A pro-Democracy and Non-Governmental organization, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has stated that the Presidential jet should not remain with President Muhammadu Buhari in London because it belongs to Nigeria.

The group made the remark while faulting the Presidency over its reason why the Presidential jet was retained in London while Buhari undergoes medical treatment.

Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu came under fire from many quarters yesterday for his belligerency, particularly his call for the boycott of the November governorship election in Anambra State.

He has also been threatening that unless a referendum is organised to enable the Igbo determine whether they should have Biafra, the Southeast will boycott the 2019 elections.

50-year-old Italian kidnapper, Blessing Fernando, who reportedly abducted a victim in Delta State, was arrested at Ogbe-Isoko community where he went to collect an additional ransom of N50,000 from the victim’s relatives, having collected N250,000 initially.

The suspect who stays at Evowe Quarters of Ozoro in Isoko North LGA., was paraded alongside 22 suspected kidnappers and three armed at the command headquarters in Asaba yesterday. According to the state Commissioner of Police, Zanna Ibrahim, the kidnapping syndicate had terrorised Ozoro and its environs for years.

Cameroon Government repatriates 887 Nigerian refugees

About 887 Nigerian refugees arrived at Banki, Borno State, on Tuesday, following a request by the Cameroonian government to Nigeria, to allow it repatriate them.

The External Relations Officer, United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) Nigeria, Mr. Hanson Tamfu, stated this in a statement yesterday.

Heavily armed security men ransack Namadi Sambo’s house in Kaduna

Some heavily armed security operatives drawn from various arms of the security services led by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission on Wednesday stormed the Kaduna residence of former Vice President, Namadi Sambo in Kaduna State.

87-year old Sekuru Tauzen Mujaji from Chipinge South in Zimbabwe holds the record of having fathered 108 children with 25 women and 10 wives in a space of 43 years.

Zim News reported that Mujaji, a Shangani tribe was born in 1930 but had traditional challenges which resulted in him being able to have his first born in 1974 when he was 44.

According to him, it has always been his desire to have many children despite the challenges he is having in raising them.
