Gov Fayose: Buhari's statements gave Anti-Igbo Campaigners confidence

Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari’s utterances gave confidence to a particular section of the country to make hate speeches.

Fayose said this in Ado Ekiti during a meeting with members of the Conference of Ekiti State Private Sectors and non-indigenes on Monday.

Fayose said Buhari got it wrong by his statement after inauguration that his government might not favour any section of the country that voted against him during the 2015 presidential poll.

Fulani herdsmen attack Olu Falae again

About 15 mobile policemen escaped death by whiskers as Fulani herdsmen opened fire on them in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

It was gathered that the herdsmen numbering about ten stormed the farm of the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Chief Olu Falae located at Kajola, in Igbatoro area of the state and destroyed it. Chief Falae invited the police only for the herdsmen to attack the policemen deployed to the farm by the state police commissioner Hilda Harrison.
