Inter Milan Director says they can buy Ronaldo from Real Madrid

Inter Milan director, Piero Ausilio has claimed that they can afford to buy Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, but admits a deal will be impossible because of Financial Fair Play rules.

Ausilo says Inter’s owners, the Suning Group, would be able to bankroll a record-breaking deal, but admits that a move cannot be made due to rules imposed regarding club spending.

Ander Herrera, was on Thursday night, announced as Manchester United’s Player of the Year. In a fan vote, the Spanish midfielder beat 28-goal top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic and defender Antonio Valencia to the title.

Drama! Two persons caught on Arik flight stealing co-passenger’s money

There was a mild drama Friday on a 7am flight of Arik Air from Lagos to Abuja as two suspects were caught stealing from a bag belonging to another passenger few minutes to landing at the local wing of Nnamdi Azikwe Airport in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The attention of the passengers were attracted by the voice of one of the crew members on the flight asking one of the suspects to sit down and should dare not utter a word since he had been finally caught.

Senate bars Lottery Commission DG from office

As a result of the irregularity that surrounds the appointment of Director General, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Mr. Adolphus Joe Ekpe, Senate on Thursday has barred him from office.

MTN In Fresh Crisis, Fined $8.5m

Rwanda’s telecom industry regulator has fined MTN Rwanda, a division of South Africa’s MTN Group, 7 billion francs (8.5 million dollars) for running its IT services outside the country in breach of its licence.

The regulator said in a ruling posted on its website in Kigali that MTN Rwanda was hosting its IT services hub in Uganda, which it had prohibited.
