He was said to have slumped while jogging on Wednesday morning with Governor Simon Lalong at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos, the state capital.

A 28-year-old housewife, Olotu Chizoba, who allegedly assaulted a co-tenant by beating her to a pulp, was on Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate O. Sule-Amzat sitting at Ogudu, Lagos.

Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) said on Tuesday it had suspended 636,000 accounts since the middle of 2015 as the company steps up efforts to tackle “violent extremism” on its microblogging platform.
The company shut down a total of 376,890 accounts in the last six months of 2016, Twitter said in its latest transparency report.

INEC cancels manual transfer of 2019 results

It will now use e-Collation and Result Transmission System in all the 120, 000 polling units.

Governor Fayose demolishes three filling stations in Ekiti
There was tension in parts of Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, yesterday as three filling stations under construction were demolished allegedly on the orders of Governor Ayo Fayose.
The incident happened few hours after members of the state chapter of Petrol Dealers Association of Nigeria (PEDAN) suspended their two-day strike, following the intervention of traditional rulers.
The uncompleted filling stations were demolished for allegedly being located in residential areas.

So sad! 3-siblings electrocuted in Delta
There was pandemonium in Eku, in the Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State after three children of a woman, identified as Ms Elohor Gabriel, were electrocuted on Saturday, following a power surge in the community.
It was learnt that the children were electrocuted when the covering of the cable connecting power to their apartment burnt, and the live wire came in contact with some burglar-proof bars while the children were playing at the veranda of the house they lived in.
SSS, Police says Nigerian military ignored intelligence before deadly Boko Haram attack
Security operatives have said that Nigerian soldiers based in Magumeri village of Borno State received early warning about a deadly Boko Haram attack in the community last Wednesday.
A number of soldiers and police personnel died in the attack. The army initially said two soldiers were killed, but the Borno government said the figure was “far higher”.
At least two police personnel also died in the attack.
