Tonto Dikeh breaks down in tears, in a tell-all interview about her failed marriage


Tonto Dikeh has opened up on her marital breakdown admitting Rosaline Meurer is responsible for the breakdown of her marriage, she also shared a proof of domestic abuse.

Speaking to Mediahub TV, she said she knows her husband and Rosy are in love as she has pictures of them on vacation abroad while he has never done that for her. She also says he bought Rosaline the car she posted on Instagram.

LOOKING at the rise of baby factories in Nigeria, are there no laws against such acts?

The challenge we have with our law is that the process for adoption is very difficult. We have a very complicated process of adoption so people tend to prefer the child buying arrangement. I can understand why the government is very cautious in making these rules for adoption because of the type of society we live in. I believe we have a proliferation of baby factories because of our tough process of adoption. As long as the legal process of adoption is stressful, the black market will thrive. In finding solution to this, the government needs to relax the styles for adoption.

Alleged Fraud: No payment made to Orji Uzor Kalu from government account — Witness


An Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC witness, Onovah Ogonevoh, yesterday, told a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos that no payment was made to the former Abia State governor, Dr. Orji Kalu, from Government House account between 2002 and 2005.

Trial judge in the matter is Justice Mohammed Idris.

The Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN), has slammed a N2bn suit against the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), over the arrest and detention of its National Commandant, Amb (Dr.) Dickson Akoh and 49 others.

The security agencies had on Tuesday, last week, raided the new National Headquarters of the Corps, arresting the National Commandant and 49 others, while about 6 were brutally wounded and hospitalised.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo said this Wednesday on the occasion of the 2017 International Women’s Day.

Osinbajo said the present administration was committed to protecting all women from all forms of gender-based violence, especially those living “where the security situation is difficult and living conditions are challenging.”

Ghanaian Police arrest 43 drug peddlers during massive raid


Police at Achimota in Ghana have arrested 43 drug peddlers who are suspected to be perpetrating robbery activities in the area. The suspects, 40 of whom are men and 3 women,  were caught during a raid on Saturday in the ghettos and slums located in the community.

Court sends human head dealer to 6 years imprisonment


A human skull dealer, Mr Saheed Musiliu, 37, has been sentenced to six years imprisonment with hard labour.

The judgement was delivered at the Magistrate Court 1 sitting in Iyaganku, Oyo State, presided over by the Chief magistrate, Mrs. Durosaro Tijani.

It would be called that Musiliu was caught with one human skull on January 15, 2017 and later arraigned in court eight days later after in­vestigation by the police.

High Court Sentences 200L University Student to Death by Hanging in Ibadan



A 200-level student of Lead City University, Ibadan, Moshood Owolabi, is to die by hanging for stabbing his fellow student to death.

Delivering judgment on Wednesday, Justice Adegboye Gbolagunte of an Ibadan High Court sentenced Mr. Owolabi to death by hanging for causing the death of one Seun Kolawole, two years ago.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Mr. Owolabi of the Physical and Health Education Department caused the death of Mr. Kolawole by stabbing him with a bottle.
