Federal Government to Sell Bag of Fertilizer for Less than N6,000

The federal government will put fertilizer on the market for less than N6,000 per bag, Audu Ogbeh, minister of agriculture and rural development, has said.

Ogbeh reportedly gave the assurance when he appeared on News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum on Sunday in Abuja.

He said that Nigeria and Morocco have signed an agreement for Morocco to supply fertilizer to Nigeria.

NJC Says DSS Allegation of Bribery Against Justice Dimgba is Unfounded

The National Judicial Council has said the bribery allegation levelled against Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court by the Department of State Services is unfounded.

This was revealed in a report by Punch on Monday. According to the report, the NJC took the decision to dismiss the DSS petition at its two-day meeting held on February 22 and 23.

Qouting a source, Punch reported further that the petition was dismissed for lacking in merit after a period of trial.
