A former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for worsening the already bad economy he inherited from former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
According to him, he believes the government would not be able to reverse the tide unless Nigerians can force them to be on their toes.
Soludo spoke at the ‘Big Ideas Podium’, a public policy debate organised by the Afri Heritage Institution in Enugu, where he canvassed what he termed a “citizens united” campaign by Nigerians to demand change and accountability from government at all levels.
