Derry Flynn McCann, 28, who was charged to court for raping a woman just hours before his wedding has confessed to the crime.

McCann had accosted his victim outside an East London park on January 13 as she was going home from an art gallery where she had been with friends. Ogun State Police Command has arrested 37-year-old Rukayat Basorun and her two friends for allegedly dumping a corpse in a bush at Mamugba Village in Ogijo community. A statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said after her lover died, Basorun allegedly connived with her friends, Omobola Shodimu and Aanu Owoade to secretly take the body to a bush where it was dumped.
