Drama in Court as Magistrate Sentence Two Blind Homosexuals to Prison in Niger State

A Minna Magistrates’ Court on Thursday sentenced two blind homos*xuals to a total of six years imprisonment without an option of fine for s*xually abusing two boys.

The Magistrate, Hajiya Hauwa Yusuf, handed down the verdict after the duo of Idris Usman popularly called Bagobiri and Abubakar Sadiq pleaded guilty to the charge.

She sentenced each of them to three years in jail.

Man who allegedly raped a lady few hours to his marriage found guilty of the crime

Derry Flynn McCann, 28, who was charged to court for raping a woman just hours before his wedding has confessed to the crime.

McCann had accosted his victim outside an East London park on January 13 as she was going home from an art gallery where she had been with friends. She had avoided walking through the middle of the park because that was too dangerous, she walked around the side, but unfortunately when near the exit of the park and just within sight of her home, McCann grabbed her arm and pulled her to one side where he raped her violently for two hours.

Ogun State Police Command has arrested 37-year-old Rukayat Basorun and her two friends for allegedly dumping a corpse in a bush at Mamugba Village in Ogijo community. A statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said after her lover died, Basorun allegedly connived with her friends, Omobola Shodimu and Aanu Owoade to secretly take the body to a bush where it was dumped.
