Guardiola explains why Iheanacho is not playing enough


Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has admitted that Kelechi Iheanacho is not playing enough games under him, because he prefers to use one striker in his team.

Iheanacho could be in line for a recall for the FA Cup replay against Huddersfield.

The Super Eagles forward has not played for City since January 15, following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras.

Ex-Presidential Spokesman, Reuben Abati, has said that he will never criticize President Muhammadu Buhari no matter the number of policy mistakes the federal government makes under his leadership.

Abati, who said this in Lagos during a chat with the media, maintained that President Buhari had good intentions for Nigeria and sincerely wants to leave good legacies behind him.

He, however, said that running the federal government of Nigeria was filled with difficulties that were amplified by the rising expectations of the people.

Inside the midwives office was a very young doctor who got involved in all my discussion with the midwife. Along the line, the midwife went out to pick something and at that moment the young doctor asked me for my number, I gave him a wrong number.

Girl dumps boyfriend 2-days after collecting birthday gifts worth N700,000


A young man who chose to remain anonymous narrated how he lost his girlfriend to another guy despite spending N700,000 on her birthday.

According to a mail sent to relationship expert Joro Olumofin, a young man recounted how his girlfriend ran off to Dubai with another guy even after he had spent N700,000 on her birthday.

Man stoned to death after wife caught him defiling their 11-year-old daughter's death body (Photos)


A 48-year-old man was stoned to death by his family members after he was found defiling the body of his daughter at his home in Kuresoi North, Kenya.

According to Nairobi News, prior to the incident the man and his family members were making burial arrangements of the 11-year-old girl, who died of a heart condition.

Confirming the incident, the area chief, Kuria Mburu said;

Man wins N530,000 in court against MTN for unauthorized callertunez deduction


The Federal High Court in Ibadan on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 has awarded N530,000 to one Oluwole Aluko for unauthorised deduction from his lines by MTN Nigeria.

Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel who passed the judgement, held that MTN had found itself guilty by not challenging the suit.

Nigerian Musician Send To Prison Over His Newly Released Song


A popular Kano-based singer, Sadiq Zazzabi, has on Wednesday, remanded in prison by a court over his newly-released song.

According to Premium Times, the singer was arraigned before the censorship court in Kano for allegedly violating the state’s censorship board law which requires that a songs or movies should pass a censorship screening before it is released.

A three-year-old girl kidnapped by her mother’s apprentice, identified as Grace John, two months ago, was found in Abia State.

Grace allegedly kidnapped the child five days after she resumed as the sales girl to the girl’s mother at their Alagbado shop in Lagos State.

It was reported that the little girl, had been sold to three different buyers in the Eastern part of the country for prices ranging from N500,000 to N600,000.

Court Dismisses Six Charges Against Nnamdi Kanu


Binta Nyako, justice of the federal high court, Abuja, has dismissed six of the 11 charges brought against Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), by the federal government.

The charges dismissed bordered on “ownership of unlawful society, illegal importation of radio transmitters and researching on how to make improvised explosive devices”.

A magistrate court in Abuja had thrown out similar charges in 2015.

FIFA Ethics Committee has banned former Nigerian sports administrator, Amos Adamu, for two years.

The committee has been investigating alleged breaches of its code of ethics by Adamu since March 2015.

It recommended a two-year ban and a fine in December.

Austria Police arrests two Nigerians over forced prostitution


Austrian police have arrested two Nigerians on suspicion of forcing young women into prostitution, in part through voodoo rites.

Police spokesman Johann Baumschlager said in Vienna that the two Nigerians, a man and woman are accused of being part of a criminal organization, human trafficking and engaging in the international prostitution trade.

Abuja authorities arrest 55 prostitutes


Less than one week that Senator Dino Melaye kicked over rising prostitutes on the streets of Abuja, the Social Development Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration has arrested 55 commercial sex workers during an operation recently.

City News gathered that the operation, which was carried out between 1.00a.m. to 5.00a.m. on Thursday, was part of a ministerial directive to relevant agencies in the city management to purge the city of unwholesome activities.
