SFG Lawal speaks on Buhari, APC government

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir David Lawal has said that President Mohammadu Buhari is laying the foundation for a secured and prosperous nation that Nigerians deserve.

Lawal said that the All Progresives Congress, APC, administration met a lot of challenges with the country being run then with unprecedented level of impunity, adding that the economy the administration inherited was precarious.

The Federal government has said it has concluded arrangements to ensure that every Nigerian owns house within the next three years.

It said plans were in top gear to ensure that it built 16-17 million units of houses every year across the states of the federation for public and private workers.

Minister of State, Power, Hon. Mustapha Baba Shehuri made this ‎disclosure in Ilorin, Kwara state capital on Thursday.

Nyesom Wike: Sheriff is a mole planted by APC in PDP

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has described the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Alli Modu Sheriff, as a mole in the party.

The Governor alleged that Sheriff is planted in the party by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to decimate the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.

He described the loss by Makarfi at the Court of Appeal to Sheriff as a temporary setback.

The United Nations Children’s Fund and the European Union state that two in three Ekiti residents engage in open defecation.
