Buhari, Osinbajo are a perfect duo – 36 States Speakers
State Houses of Assembly Speakers have described President Muhammadu Buhari and Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo as a good combination of leaders.
They commended Buhari for transmitting power to Osinbajo before he embarked on medical vacation to the United Kingdom, saying his action was in strict adherence to the provisions of the country’s constitution.
The Speakers also hailed Professor Osinbajo on the way and manner he has since handled the affairs of the nation.

Ekiti State has the highest number of residents, among Nigerian states, who defecate openly, two agencies have said.
The United Nations Children’s Fund and the European Union state that two in three Ekiti residents engage in open defecation.
This is contained in a report jointly presented by the organizations at a two-day media networking and alliance building workshop on Water Sanitation and Hygiene held at Ijero Ekiti.

An Abeokuta Magistrate’s Court on Friday sentenced a 23- year- old man, Olamide Lakan, to two years imprisonment for burglary and theft of a motorcycle valued at N210,000.
Lekan, who faced a three-count charge of conspiracy, burglary and theft, admitted guilt and was promptly handed the jail term.

A lecturer, Mr Ibrahim Oseni says students have become lazy due to their over-reliance on google search for their academic works.

South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma has condemned acts of violence between citizens and non-nationals, his office said on Friday.
Anti-immigrant violence has flared sporadically in South Africa against a background of near-record unemployment, with foreigners being accused of taking jobs from citizens and getting involved in crime.
Citizens in Pretoria are set to march against foreigners on Friday and domestic media are reporting vandalism and acts of violence in the Atteridgeville area west of the capital.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to LIB, the victim usually load passengers into buses at the scene of the accident.
