Rappers Phyno and Olamide got an award each for being the "Creative Personality of the Year" at the just concluded 2017 Sun Newspapers Awards.

The rappers who collaborated on the 2016 gospel ghetto banger "Fada Fada" took to social media to flaunt their awards, giving an appreciative intent to the minds behind the awards.

Lol, a twitter user @nicklutz12, shared an apology letter he received from his ex,  but what got everyone talking about the viral letter was that he graded it and sent it back.

Oh No! Nigeria listed as the most corrupt country on earth


Nigeria, the most populated country in Africa, is perceived to be the most corrupt among 60 corrupt countries evaluated, according to data from the 2016 Best Countries rankings. The rankings are a characterization of 60 countries based on a survey of more than 16,000 people from four regions. 

The USNews reports that in the survey, respondents answered how closely they related each of the 60 countries to the term "corrupt."

Lauretta Onochie, personal assistant on social media to President Muhammadu Buhari, has congratulated Ali Modu Sheriff who was declared the legitimate chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday by the court of appeal sitting in Port Harcourt.

SHOCKING! Retired Polytechnic worker dies after inability to buy N500 drug


One of the retired workers of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State reportedly lost his life after he was unable to buy the N500 drug prescribed for him to treat his ailment. 

The chairman of the Association of Retired Staff of the polytechnic, Mr. Rufus Oguntoyinbo disclosed this in a statement issued at the end of the meeting of the association in Akure on Friday. 

Ayo Fayose says Buhari deserves rest and should be allowed


Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has said politicians should allow President Muhammadu Buhari to enjoy his rest and stop disturbing him with needless visits.

He also said he remained a committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party loyal to Ahmed Makarfi-led faction despite the Court of Appeal judgment recognising Alimodu Sheriff as the National Chairman.

He said, “We are not going anywhere. The matter has been appealed. In elections, three things are important: party, candidate and people. We have the people. The power of the people is greater than the machinations of the people working against us.”

Governor Fayose says FG plan to ban okada wicked, encourages insecurity


Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has described moves by the Federal Government to ban commercial motorcycle, popularly known as Okada in the country as wicked.

The Federal Road Safety Commission recently called for a nationwide ban of Okada in the country, saying they were causing high rate of accidents.

But the governor, who is the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, said he would not ban okada in the state.

The reason of the recent visit is yet to be disclosed.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose has reacted to Ali Modu Sheriff's threat to kick him out of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Addressing people of his state on Ekiti Radio-91.5FM and EKTV on Saturday, Fayose said he does not talk to “monkeys.”
“On that comment by Sheriff that he will kick me and Gov Wike out of PDP, I don’t talk to monkeys. That Appeal Court judgement is just a phase, it will fizzle out. All things will work together for good for me, that’s what the Bible says,'' Fayose said.
