Who's Preparing For War? See the 661 Pump-action Rifles Intercepted by Customs in Lagos

Photos of the 661 pump action rifles hidden inside a Mack truck along Mile 2 Apapa has been intercepted by men of the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Customs Service on Monday.

The manifest that followed the truck stated that it carried steel doors, before the customs officials discovered something else. The items were hidden inside 49 boxes.

Doctors in Louisiana, United States, have conducted a successful surgery to remove a rare facial tumour from a 3-year-old Brazilian girl.

Melyssa Delgado Braga from Sao Paulo was diagnosed with myxoma, a very rare and aggressive tumour which weighed 5 pounds. This condition was making breathing difficult for the little girl and also was pushing her tongue to the back of her throat. In desperation, her parents reached out for help on social media and their saviour came in the form of a medical doctor.

Starbucks CEO Schultz plans to hire 10,000 refugees after Trump ban

Starbucks Corp (SBUX.O) Chief Executive Officer Howard Schultz said on Sunday that the company planned to hire 10,000 refugees over five years in 75 countries, two days after U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order banning refugees from certain countries.

Trump on Friday put a four-month hold on allowing refugees into the United States and temporarily barred travelers from Syria and six other Muslim-majority countries, saying the moves would help protect Americans from terrorist attacks.

The order sparked widespread international criticism, outrage from civil rights activists and legal challenges.

West Ham United have confirmed that a £25million deal has been agreed for Dimitri Payet to join Ligue 1 club, Marseille.

Payet only moved to the Premier League 18 months ago from Marseille.

His transfer ends a long-running battle with the club, after the French playmaker insisted he wanted to leave.
