Any worker in the local councils that record less than 60 per cent attendance would be sanctioned, the Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, has said.
Also, the governor has directed that the first session of 200 workers of the councils be trained on the Information Communication Technology (ICT), to expose them to computer literacy.
Okorocha, who said this recently while inspecting some prototype projects in the councils, regretted that records indicated that many workers at that level had 40 per cent attendance receiving salaries with tax payers money.
