Popular Pornstar nab smuggling cocaine worth millions of pounds on a cruise ship (Photos)

A former porn star has pleaded guilty to trying to smuggle cocaine worth £18million into Australia on a cruise ship. Canadian Isabelle Lagace, 28, and 23-year-old Melina Roberge were part of a seven-member drug cartel aboard the MS Sea Princess as it cruised from New York via Tahiti to Sydney carrying 95kg of cocaine,.

The women, from Quebec, had boarded the luxury cruise ship in Southampton in June.

President Buhari's 74th birthday celebration (VIDEO)

President Muhammadu Buhari today clocked 74 years old and marked his birthday anniversary with a special parade at the Presidential Villa, Abuja and inspection of the Guard of Honour mounted by the Nigerian Army.

He was born on 17 December 1942 in Daura, Katsina State.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that President Buhari also cut a birthday cake and released 74 pigeons from a cage as part of the activities marking the anniversary.

Buhari calls for review of Treaty as he hosts ECOWAS leaders in Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari has stressed the need to review the ECOWAS Treaty in order to make the regional organisation more responsive to new national, regional and global challenges.

The president made the call at the opening of the 50th Ordinary Session of the Authority and Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS, held in Abuja on Saturday.

The Ebonyi Police Command has confirmed the crushing of a skater by an articulated vehicle in Abakaliki, on Friday evening.

Mr Jude Madu, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), confirmed the accident on Saturday, noting that investigations into it had begun.

According to him, the deceased had been identified and more information on the accident would be released next week.
