Doyin Okupe, the former special adviser to former president Goodluck Jonathan, says Hillary Clinton lost the US presidential race because she wanted to edit the Bible.

Okupe, who quoted many verses of the Bible in celebration of a Donald Trump win as the 45th president of the US,  said “the Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to naught, He maketh the devices of the people of non effect. The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever”.

In a statement by his Special Adviser, Media, Uche Anichikwu, Senator Ekweremadu who congratulated Trump on his victory in the U.S presidential election, said that emerging democracies, including Nigeria, must emulate the democratic and transparent nature of the U.S election, noting that the will of the people and respect for democratic principles must be allowed at all times and also against the backdrop that the election was not inconclusive.

Mr Joshua told his congregation on Sunday that he "saw" a woman winning.

Former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Doyin Okupe has expressed joy over the emergence of Donald J. Trump as the President-elect of the United States of America.

Okupe on Wednesday on his Facebook page said Trump “contested against the entire american establishment” and won.
