Borno State | Police Deploy 100 Female Personnel to IDP Camps over Sexual Abuse

The Borno Police Command said on Sunday that it had deployed 100 female policemen to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in the state following an allegation of abuse of women by camp officials.

A pharmacist was arrested on a charge of indecent assault after being accused of raping a young woman who came to his shop for medication, according to police in Australia.

Kuang King of Melbourne, has been sentenced to serve six months in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting the 22-year-old woman, who was not identified.

In addition to the prison sentence, he was ordered to perform 300 hours of community service. Tan will have to complete a 16-week sex offender course and undergo further psychological treatment.
