Enugu State | Police arrest burglary kingpin


The Police Command in Enugu State has arrested an alleged burglary kingpin it trailed for over two weeks.

The command’s spokesman, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, on Friday in Enugu said that the suspect and his gang had been involved in most of the burglary incidents within Enugu Township.

The police image maker said that the police recovered from the gang, DVD, home theatres, cell-phones and laptops.

Kano State High Court presided by Honourable Justice Dije Abdu Aboki has convicted and sentenced one Aliyu Suleiman to 195 years imprisonment.

The convict was arraigned by the EFCC on September 30, 2014, for allegedly stealing over N21, 000,000 (Twenty-one Million Naira only) from Albasu Microfinance Bank. Upon his arraignment, the convict pleaded not guilty to all the count charge brought against him by the EFCC.
