Ewo! Woman dies during marathon s*x with lover who drank 'man power'


An Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting at Ibadan on Tuesday remanded a 50- year old man, Fatai Busari, in Agodi prison for allegedly causing the death of his concubine after her 'sexed' her to death.

Busari allegedly drank herbal aphrodisiac (man power) before having sex with 48-year-old Sadiat Adejuwon.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Abiona Richard, ordered the remand of Busari at Agodi prison, pending legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

Two siblings have died in a kerosene explosion in Akwa Ibom State. Three persons, including their father, were injured.

The injured victim, Mr. Michael Nsikak, a tricycle operator and father of three, sustained burns. His two children died in the explosion.Nsikak, who also operates a poultry near his home at Ikot Enyingne Ikono, said:

The mourning moggy was first heard crying while lying in the earth at the burial plot in Central Java, Indonesia.

Passer-by Keli Keningau Prayitno, 28, tried to adopt the kitty but it returned to the same spot - cuddling the small blue headstone.

A police sergeant Matthew Elah, of the Rivers State command, has been arrested over his alleged involvement in a robbery operation in Abia state.

At 3 years old, Bethany Thompson was diagnosed with a brain tumor and battled through radiation treatments. Though cancer-free since 2008, the treatment caused nerve damage that changed Bethany’s smile. That, and her curly hair led to bullying said Bethany’s mother, Wendy Feucht.

Feucht said after a particularly tough Wednesday with bullies, Bethany told her best friend she couldn’t take it anymore and be going to take her own life.

CBN issues another warning against wonder Banks, MMM


The Central Bank of Nigeria is cautioning Nigerians against patronizing wonder banks.

The head, Consumer Protection Department of the CBN, Mrs Kadija Kassim gave the warning at a forum in Niger state to mark the World Savings Day.

According to her, the activities of these wonder banks are not regulated by the CBN.

Skye Bank sacks 50 more workers


About four months after it disengaged about 200 of its workers, Skye Bank Plc has retrenched about 50 members of staff, including those in outsourced and auxiliary functions.

Although the number of the affected non-core employees could not be ascertained since they were not direct workers of the bank, it was gathered that the reasons for their exit ranged from non-performance, disciplinary issues as well as rightsizing by the lender.

It was further gathered that most of the affected personnel were in outsourced functions like tellers, drivers and internal security guards.

Group drags Buhari to court, insists Ameachi, Onu must be investigated and sacked over Bribery Allegation


A Non-Governmental Organisation known as Incorporated Trustees of Kingdom Human Rights Foundation International yesterday filed a suit at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, asking the court to issue an order of mandamus compelling President Buhari to immediately sack Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi and his counterpart in Science & Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu.

According to the group, the sack of both Ministers is important after two Supreme Court judges, Inyang Okoro and Nwali Sylvester Ngwuta, who are currently being investigated for corruption, accused both men of offering them bribe some years ago, Vanguard reports.
