Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday disagreed with President Muhammadu Buhari over claims by him (Buhari) that he inherited “no light, bad roads, and no railway.”

Buhari, while briefing Nigerians in the United States last week, had said he met nothing on the ground after he took over as the president.

California, US | Three held, including teen, in triple Killings

Police arrested three people, including a 17-year-old girl, on suspicion of killing a couple and their friend inside a Southern California home over the weekend.

Fullerton police Sgt. Jon Radus would not say if the arrested teen was Katlynn Goodwill Yost, whom they had identified earlier as the missing daughter of two of the victims. He said she was located after authorities issued an alert, initially saying they were concerned about her safety.

The prices of food items in Bauchi State have continued to crash after months of high food prices.

Reports reveal that the prices of food items have dropped by 50% in the state.

A bag of maize which few months ago was going for N18,000 now sells for N9,000 while local rice that used to cost N35,000 is now being sold at N20,000, a grain seller at Muda Lawal Market, Bauchi, Malam Adamu Kafin Maigari said.

Benue State | Three suspected kidnappers arrested (PHOTO)

Benue State Police Command have arrested 3 suspected kidnappers in Ohimini Local Government Area of the state.

Transgender couple give birth to first ever own biological baby

A transgender man, Fernando Machado who was assigned female at birth and his partner Diane Rodriguez, who was assigned male at birth, gave birth to a healthy child after conceiving with his transgender wife, making the couple the first transgender couple in South America to do so.

The couple who gave birth in June, live in Ecuador have expressed their desire to have more children.

Udoma said the primary objective of government’s fiscal stimulus plan was not to sell off all major critical national assets but to source for immediate funds to get the economy out of recession.
