Anambra State | Terrible accident prevented after truck rams into bus and building


A terrible accident was averted yesterday, September 22, after a  tipper truck loaded with sand rammed into a bus and a building in Awka, Anambra State.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to ABS, the driver of the truck had a problem with the steering wheel, swerved and slammed into a bus packed outside a compound before crashing into the wall of the building.

Police warns IPOB: We won’t allow you break down law and order


The Rivers and Anambra states commands of the Nigeria Police Force have warned the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to stop plans of carrying out their protest scheduled for September 23 (today).

IPOB had planned to protest the continuous detention of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu and has called for restricted movement throughout the S/South and S/East.

In one example, Tunisian Abu Mansour married a Nigerian called Miriam but instead of paying a dowry he vowed to pay compensation ‘of one suicide belt’ in the event of his death or the marriage being dissolved.
