A sexagenarian woman in Italy has given birth to her first child – Maria Rosaria Veneruso delivered a healthy boy on Monday afternoon after a ‘normal and peaceful‘ pregnancy, according to local reports.

Ms Veneruso and her husband Enzo were delighted with their new born baby boy, who weighed 7lb 7oz (3.7 kg) and they named him Elia Francesco.

UNDP collaborate with Gombe State, trains 264 youths, women in trades


The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaborations with Gombe state Government has commenced the training of 264 women and youths in the state.

Pro. Iliya Dongs of the Dobast Management Consultants Limited, who disclosed this while speaking during the programme, said the participants will be train in five different trades namely tailoring, fashion design, lumbering, Plaster of Paris (POP) and solar power installations.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) says it has introduced e-marker in the assessment of theoretical questions. With this development marking of this set of questions will no longer be manual, but will be done electronically.

A disabled woman has shamed fellow train passengers who she claims forced her to stand in agony after refusing to move from her reserved seats. Cat Lee, shared a picture of two men on Facebook.

The 43-year-old suffered nerve damage during an operation which has left her with crippling groin pain and unable to work.She said she explained her disabilities to the men and that she had reserved the seats for her and a friend but they still refused to move.
