Ekiti State | Governor Fayose reassures Communities Of Basic Amenities

The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has reassured the residents of the state of his administration’s commitment to providing basic socio-amenities to all communities in the state.

Mr Fayose gave the assurance in Igbaraodo-Ekiti Community when he paid a visit to the town to have a first-hand look at the resuscitation of pipe-borne water into the community, after several years.

The Governor told reporters that his administration would stop at nothing in making life more comfortable for its citizenry.

Federal Government to Begin E-Procurement in Six Ministries

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced plans to start the pilot phase of electronic procurement (E-Procurement) systems in six ministries.

The government says a total of 48 billion Naira is expected to be saved from the new initiative.

The Acting Director General of the Bureau for Public Procurement, Mr Ahmed Abdu, announced the plan on Monday while speaking at a meeting on procurement in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

The teenager, Rere, as her distraught father fondly calls her passed away from an undisclosed ailment just a few hours after her 13th birthday.

She turned 13 years on Saturday, August 27th.
