Police Concludes Investigations, Reveals Findings over #SaveMayowa Controversy

After investigating the debate surrounding the funding and medical treatment of Mayowa Ahmed, the Lagos State Police command says it has not been able to establish any case of fraud against Ahmed or members of her family.

This was disclosed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Dolapo Badmos, in a statement on Friday.

#Rio2016: Uproar among Nigerian Athletes as Officials Refuse to Release Funds Approved by FG

There might be some confusions in the Nigerian camp at the ongoing Rio 2016 Olympic Games over the non-release of funds to athletes and officials.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) it has been gathered that the Federal Government had already approved funds for the athletes and officials to meet certain obligations.

However, a reliable source told NAN there that the budget for each of the federations and the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) had yet to be released by officials of the Federal Ministry of Sports. Some athletes had begun to complain of poor kitting , especially warm clothing, there.

A 23-year-old Nigerian mother with cancer is appealing to the Nigerian community to help find a matching blood stem donor.

The campaign to find a suitable match for May Brown, from Dorset, has become more urgent following a relapse of the leukaemia that she had. As Brown's leukaemia has just returned more aggressively than before, her doctors have told her that she will need the blood stem cell donation as soon as she goes into remission, which they hope will happen again soon.

A day old baby girl in critical condition was abandoned near a transformer opposite Phase Three Junction on the Kubwa expressway in Abuja on Wednesday August 10th. She has been transferred to the Kubwa General Hospital where she has been placed on life support. The little girl was discovered by residents of the community and was immediately taken to the police station from where she was transferred to the hospital where doctors are working to ensure she is in good health.

According to her she was groomed by a man on Facebook who for two years repeatedly abused her and also pimped her out to other child molesters online after sharing her profile on swinger sites without her knowledge.

Different paedophiles will travel from across the country to abuse Paula, meeting her in city centre hotels or houses and in one occasion she was allegedly tasered.
