Only 3 out of 137 paedophiles who abuse a 13 years School Girl has been jailed


A  schoolgirl (name withheld) who was abducted from her school, taken to a house and raped for over two years at the age of 13 by 137 paedophiles has revealed that only three were ever jailed by the Police.

According to her she was groomed by a man on Facebook who for two years repeatedly abused her and also pimped her out to other child molesters online after sharing her profile on swinger sites without her knowledge.

Different paedophiles will travel from across the country to abuse Paula, meeting her in city centre hotels or houses and in one occasion she was allegedly tasered.

"It is totally unacceptable, condemnable and punishable that some disgruntled elements residing in some parts of Aba, notablely along Aba Cameroun road, Hospital road and axis are truncating the efforts in keeping Aba environment clean," AFN wrote.

Ijaw group pleads with Militants to embrace peace


A group under the aegis of Ijaw Community Association has called on the various Niger Delta militant groups to embrace peace and dialogue with the federal government, saying renewed agitation in the region has added more difficulty to the already ailing economy.

It said the activities of various militant groups who have been destroying oil facilities were disrupting economic activities in the region, stressing that they had caused the Nigerian economy to go into recession.

Four Brothers bag 72 months for forging court registrar’s signature and stamp


Four brothers are to spend the next 72 months behind bars in Lagos for forging the official stamp and signature of a Lagos High Court registrar.

The men are Abayomi Oluwa, 64; Ismaila Oluwa, 69; Tajudeen Oluwa, 60; and Musa Oluwa, 58.

An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court which handed down the verdict, sentenced each of them to 18 months for forgery and eight months for conspiracy.

Spain won their first game in the Rio Olympics by defeating Nigeria’s basketball team 96- 87. This is the Nigeria basketball team’s third loss as they were defeated in their previous matches by Lithuania and Argentina.

It was a pretty fierce game as the Spain basketball team won the first quarter, 25-11 against the Nigerian team. The D’ Tigers  fought back in the second quarter by outscoring Spain by 12 points; the quarter ending 41- 43 with  Ben Uzoh scoring 8 points for the D’Tigers.

Ex Ecobank Manager Arrested For Alleged Fraud


The police  on Wednesday arrested a former manager of Ecobank Nigeria Plc, Ejigbo branch, 41-year-old Ikechukwu Aghanenu, for allegedly conspiring with a suspected fraudster, Anthony Okpala, to defraud two customers of the bank of N14m.

The customers are Mrs. Oluremi Egunjobi who is deceased, and  Rabiu Lawal, who is based in the United Kingdom.

The suspects  reportedly diverted N4.014m from the deceased’s customer’s bank account, while N10m was said to have been fraudulently withdrawn from Lawal’s account.
