The electricity-powered vehicle straddles the highway over two lanes and allows cars to pass underneath. The testing of its brake and power systems took place on Tuesday in Qinhuangdao, a port city in northeast China.

Two half-naked prostitutes have taken to the middle of a street to engage in a brutal fight over a disagreement as many people cheered and watched.

The incident took place in White Plains Road, part of New York’s notorious Bronx neighbourhood.

The two wore skimpy dresses and had their bums exposed to the entire world as the fight continued. Even while cars honked, the pair continued the fight to the astonishment of all.

Franca Asemota, 38, known to her victims as “Auntie Franca”, used Heathrow Airport as a hub to smuggle at least 40 children and young adults into Europe.

A court was told Asemota lured the girls – who were as young as 14 and mainly orphans from remote Nigerian villages – with promises of jobs and education.

She then used “witchcraft”, threats and violence to force them into the European sex trade.

Her audacious gang even managed to snatch back two girls who had been rescued and placed in in foster care in Worthing, West Sussex.

AAUA Strike: Governor Mimiko's meeting with ASUU Ends in Deadlock


An emergency meeting summoned by Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State with members of the Executive Council of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU] of the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko to address the issue of unpaid salaries of lecturers has ended in a deadlock.

Our correspondent was told that the  meeting held on Tuesday at the Alagbaka office of the Governor had in attendance the embattled Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun.

The lectures are demanding for the full payment of their entitlement and have vowed not to resume for teaching activities on the campus if their salaries are not paid.

Having joined the Stamford Bridge outfit from Basel in 2014, Salah spent time on loan at Fiorentina before joining Roma on a season-long loan last year, scoring 14 goals in 34 appearances.

Manchester City have completed the signing of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras.

The Premier League side had been chasing the 19-year-old for some time, though Barcelona were also interested in signing him.

Turkey’s football authorities have fired 94 officials including referees in the wake of the July 15 coup that tried to unseat President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the football federation said on Tuesday.
“Our federation deemed it necessary to dismiss 94 people, including regional and nationally-ranked referees and assistant referees, regional refereeing committee members and national and regional observers,” the Turkish Football Federation said in a statement.

Alexa Frink, 23, can be seen just inches from the reptile’s open jaw as she swam in Jardines De La Reina.

The surviving member of an armed robbery gang that attacked a police constable on Monday, in Idimu area of Lagos, revealed that a staff of the bank gave them information about the victim, who was shot on the jaw and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

The three-man robbery gang arrived the bank in motorcycles, shot the customer as he was leaving the banking hall and snatched his money.
