Saraki, Ekweremadu's Alleged forgery case postponed to September 28th


The alleged forgery case against Senate President Bukola Saraki, his deputy Ike Ekweremadu and two others has been postponed to September 28th. According to officials at the Federal High Court Abuja, the case could not be heard today due to the annual recess of the Judiciary.

Lala from Salt Lake City shared the photo taken four days after surgery saying she was still suffering a little pain and her breasts still swollen. She revealed that back pain caused by her huge J cup breasts informed her decision to reduce them to D-DD, a reduction of six cup sizes.

Nigerian refugee seeker Emmanuel Chidi Nnamdi was laid to rest on Sunday, July 10, in a funeral service attended by hundreds of mourners. His widow, Chinyere, dressed entirely in white, fainted twice during the ceremony and had to be carried out of the Fermo cathedral. Nigerian friends also rushed to support her after she collapsed near his rose-topped coffin.

Chris LeDay wasn't the one who filmed the Alton Sterling shoot, but he was one who made the video go viral. He was one of the first people to post it on social media. He spread it on his IG page, Twitter and Facebook pages and it was from his page other media houses took the video and spread it.

He was allegedly arrested by Police officers after the video went viral.

According to LeDay's Facebook post, he was going to his job as a technician at Dobbins Air Reserve Base when he was suddenly detained by both military and civilian police officers.

Police say Dallas sniper plotted bigger assault, as more protesters arrested

Ambassadorial List: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Onyeama to appear before Senate

Making this disclosure in a telephone interview with The Authority, two members of the Commit­tee, Senators Enyinnaya Abaribe and Sonni Og­buoji said the Minister would appear before the lawmakers tomorrow but could not confirm wheth­er the SGF would also be in the meeting.

MAGIC! 71 Trailers of Rice meant for IDP’s Disappears


Controversies have trailed the sudden disappearance of 71 trailers of rice and other grains allocated to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Adamawa State by the Federal Government to ameliorate the hardship faced by victims of insurgency in the state.

The 71 trailer loads of grains actually arrived the state only for the items to develop wings two days after the Deputy Governor, Mr. Martins Babale, flagged off the ceremony marking the distribution of the consignment, without getting to the IDP camps or to those that had returned home.

Commenting on the missing trucks of food items, a member of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Emmanuel Tsamdu, said reports from his constituency community leaders confirmed that only 250 bags of 50kg of rice got to Madagali, as against the two trailers of 600 bags of 50kg per one trailer load.

The Islamic Republic of Iran may have joined forces with those seeking the removal of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai in what is largely seen as a coup to cripple the anti-terror war.

Buratai, whose detractors acknowledged as having made commendable gains in the fight against Boko Haram in the northeast, was the target of an attack by Iranian-backed Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) better known as the Shiite sect in the country. The attempt on his life triggered a military operation.

Sources revealed that Iran, whose former Ambassador to Nigeria, Saheed Kozechi, actively defended IMN’s right to insurrection, is now exploiting ongoing allegations against the COAS of owning property in Dubai to seek his sack as payback for the troops’ operation in Zaria Kaduna state late last year.

Local Security Chief dock out Boko Haram Members in Lagos State


Some Boko Haram members have been arrested in Lagos. The terrorists, who were arrested within last week in three different locations, were apprehended by local security operatives.

Their names are Ibrahim Ali, Abubakar Ahmed, Babagana Blam Ali, Goigoi Kamsalem, Ibrahim Mohammed and Adams.

They were said to have fled from Bama, Baga and Konduga Local Government Areas of Borno State following the increase in military operations to wipe out the sect.

The Head of a group of local security outfit in Lagos, who is the Mai-Kanuribe of Lagos and Seriki Hausawa of Ijora Kingdom, Alhaji Mustapha Mohammed, disclosed to journalists at the weekend that five out of the suspects were arrested on Friday at Isheri-Ojudu Berger and Victoria Island areas, while the sixth was arrested in a church at Festac area of the state.

Yakubu Dogara reveals Billions of looted funds found buried in Abuja farmland


Yakubu Dogara, has described as unimaginable, the scale of corruption so far uncovered by anti-graft agencies. At a meeting with newspaper editors in Abuja, on Saturday, the speaker of the House of Reps said he was shocked by the monumental looting of the treasury in the past, citing the discovery of billions of looted fund buried in a farm in Abuja.

He explained that operatives of anti-graft agencies had been busy moving the cash out of the farm.
Dogara said he had never heard of such impunity in which people “stole for the sake of stealing,” decrying the latest antics of suspected looters to bury their loot in farmland.
