Wendy Williams defends Fergie M.I.L.F.$ video in her show


In an uncharacteristic move, Wendy Williams has lashed out at critics who have slammed Fergie's new music video for M.I.L.F.$, which features Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen. 

The outspoken chat show host praised the star-studded video, as she said:
“I thought it was typical Fergie, a girl having cartoon-ish fun. The song itself is really cute. We'll know all the words to it by July 15. Mark my words.”

Destiny’s Child Star, LaTavia Roberson fighting For Life in hospital


Former Destiny’s Child singer, LaTavia Roberson, is reportedly in very bad shape after suffering from complications due to her second pregnancy. The star was apparently rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition!

The Destiny’s Child star was reportedly rushed to the hospital on July 4 with severe pregnancy complications. The singer is allegedly even “fighting for her life!” And you better believe her fans and supporters are sending her all their love via social media and wishing her and her unborn child a full recovery.

A source reportedly close to LaTavia reached out to TheShadeRoom and told them that the singer was transported to the hospital as a result of complications that arose from her pregnancy. And although there has been no health update since July 4, TSR did report that LaTavia is “fighting for her life.” Oh no! We truly hope the singer-turned-actress recovers soon, and fans are praying for her!

Student stabbed in the neck after attempting to rape 2 women in one night


A judge has praised a victim who stabbed a 'sex predator' in the neck with her keys after he pounced on her in the street.

Church-going student Joshua Okugbeni, 21, ran off with his trousers still down after the brave woman punctured his skin.

He had grabbed the woman from behind as she walked to work one morning - putting his hand over her mouth and dragging her towards a wall.

Okugbeni asked the victim for a kiss and pulled his own trousers down- and his victim reacted in fear she was about to be raped.

Notorious Robbery Gang chopped off Ajali DPO's Ear


The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for Ajali in Orumba North Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State, in an attempt to arrest members of a notorious gang terrorizing Nanka Community, had one of his ears chopped off and was disrobed.

The DPO and his team raided the den of the nine-man gang and successfully arrested Mr Ifedilichukwu Nwankwo, Mr Chidi Nwankwo and Mr Udoye Kenechukwu after previous attempts by the Police Force Criminal Investigations Department (Force CID), Abuja and Zone 9 Headquarters, Umuahia.

A youth pastor, Raymond Vincent, 46 has been arrested for impregnating a 10-year-old girl and fleeing to Haiti. Detectives were called to Broward Health Medical Center on Feb. 13 in reference to a sexual battery of a child. The girl was found to be pregnant after having been taken to the hospital with stomach pain, the inquisitr.com reports

A police report detailed one of Vincent's encounters with the girl sometime in December or January. The girl told police she was asleep on a couch and was awakened when she felt a hand going down her pants. As she opened her eyes, she saw Vincent hovering over her. He quickly pulled his hand from beneath the blanket, the report said.

Speaker of the House of Rep felicitates With Muslims On Eid-El-Fitri Celebration


The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara, has congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah across Nigeria on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Turaki Hassan, in Abuja, the Speaker urged Muslims to use the period of Eid-el-Fitri to pray for Nigeria to overcome its present challenges.

Dogara also asked Muslims to allow the lessons of humility, sacrifice, love and selfless service garnered during the 30-day fast to guide their lives and activities.

President Obama team-up with Hillary Clinton to make first joint campaign appearance


President Barack Obama heartily vouched for Hillary Clinton's trustworthiness and dedication on Tuesday, making his first outing on the campaign stump for his former secretary of state just hours after his FBI director blasted her handling of classified material, Shirt sleeves rolled up in campaign form, Obama declared, "I'm here today because I believe in Hillary Clinton. I have had a front-row seat to her judgment and her commitment."

Obama spoke at his first joint campaign appearance with Clinton, a show of Democratic unity in a state Clinton is hoping to put back in the Democrats' column. But the moment wasn't what her campaign and the White House imagined during the long primary season.

Shortly before the president and his would-be successor flew to Charlotte together, FBI Director James Comey announced he would not recommend charges against Clinton for her email practices — but only after he presented a searing description of her "extremely careless" handling of classified information that ensured the matter won't be going away.

A businessman strangulated his wife, a Congolese national, (the stunning lady pictured above) cut the body into pieces and set them ablaze, police said on Tuesday, July 5.

Rupesh Kumar Mohanani, 36, was caught by people in Madanpally village in Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad, India after they found him pouring petrol on a bag containing the body pieces and burning it.

The deceased has been identified as Cynthia Vechel, 30, a club dancer in Congo. She had been living with her husband in Hyderabad since 2012.

Donald Trump says FBI decision on Clinton emails was 'rigged'



Donald Trump has condemned the FBI recommendation against criminal charges for Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server while secretary of State.
"The system is rigged," Trump tweeted less than an hour after the announcement by FBI Director James Comey. "General Petraeus got in trouble for far less. Very very unfair! As usual, bad judgment."
Trump referred to charges brought against former Gen. David Petraeus, though that case involved the direct transfer of classified information to his mistress/biographer.

Former US National Guard Soldier charged with ISIS support


A former National Guard soldier has been charged with plotting to help the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and contemplating a Fort Hood-style attack against the U.S. military.

Twenty-six-year-old Mohamed Jalloh of Sterling, Virginia, is expected to make an initial appearance Tuesday in federal court in Alexandria.

Court records made public Tuesday indicate Jalloh is a former member of the Army National Guard who says he quit after hearing lectures from radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

Six things You Need to Know from FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email


FBI Director James B. Comey spoke Tuesday about the bureau’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of emails while she was secretary of state. During his remarks, Comey touched on or revealed six new things about the probe:

1. More than 100 messages across dozens of chains contained classified information when they were sent or received

Comey said that investigators looked through tens of thousands of emails and found dozens with information that was deemed classified when they were sent.
“From the group of 30,000 emails returned to the State Department, 110 emails in 52 email chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received,” Comey said, according to his prepared remarks. “Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification.”

Federal High Court Orders CBN, FG To Pay ALGON 960bn Naira


A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted a ‘garnishee order absolute’ for 960 billion Naira against the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Federal Government.

The presiding judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola, gave the ruling on Tuesday in favour of the incorporated trustees of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).

He ordered the CBN to debit the Federal Government’s account from funds already set aside by the apex bank, pursuant to an earlier ‘garnishee order nisi’ on April 1, 2015.

Paris attacks inquiry faults French intelligence agencies


A French parliamentary investigation into last year’s terrorist attacks on Paris has identified multiple failings by France’s many different intelligence agencies.

The parliamentary commission was set up to assess the failure to prevent a series of attacks that killed a total of 147 people in 2015 – from January’s gun attacks on the Charlie Hebdo offices and a kosher grocery store to the coordinated gun and bomb attacks on 13 November outside the national sports stadium, at bars and restaurants and at a rock gig at the Bataclan concert hall.

The commission highlighted a “global failure” of French intelligence and recommended a total overhaul of the intelligence services and the creation of a single, US-style national counter-terrorism agency.
