A popular musician in Adamawa State, Ado Daukaka, has gone missing hours after his new album, which condemned corrupt practices, hit the airwave, his family said.
He went missing after some unknown persons visited his home in the wee hours of Saturday, his wives said.
Mr. Daukaka, who came to limelight during the reign of ex-Governor, Murtala Nyako, with his popular praise song for the former governor, “Baba mai mangoro ndottijon arziki”, was last seen on Saturday after he left for early morning prayer.
The musician’s wives were quoted as saying some strangers came asking for him after he set out for prayer.
