Belgium captain Eden Hazard felt his performance in the 4-0 victory over Hungary at Euro 2016 was his best in international football.

The 25-year-old attacker scored a brilliant solo goal and set up a strike for Michy Batshuayi in a 94-second spell late on that sealed an impressive victory for Marc Wilmots' men in Toulouse.

Toby Alderweireld's early header had opened the scoring and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco sealed the win with a stoppage-time goal after Hazard had made his mark.

Hazard created a total of four chances for his team-mates and was a constant threat down the left as Belgium produced what he felt was close to a perfect display to book a quarter-final against Wales in Lille – the city where he used to play – on Friday.

Rayne, whose real name was Meghan Wren, was pronounced dead at her Los Angeles home on April 2. She was 31 years old.

The Detroit native rose to prominence within the adult film industry after making her debut in 2005. She acquired 500 credits over the course of her career, according to the Adult Video Network.

Operatives of Lagos State Task Force arrest renowned Awawa Gang Kingpin

A suspected member of the notorious Awawa gang, 30-year-old Jimoh Sanni, alias Last Born, who specialises in harassing and raping young girls, has been arrested by operatives of Lagos State Task Force alongside 14 others after they received intelligence report on the activities of the notorious gang. The operation that got the gang apprehended took place at midnight and was led by SP Olayinka Egbeyemi.Sanni, after his arrest, confessed that he has raped over five girls within the Dopemu area of Agege, Lagos State.

The 2016 BET Awards ceremony was the place to be on Sunday, June 26, as celebs gathered at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for the star-studded show.

Drake nabbed nine BET Award nominations more than any other artist this year but that doesn’t mean he’s going to take home all of them: The rapper is up against fellow musicians like Rihanna and Beyoncé, who are both nominated in four categories.

US based Nigerian footballer, Fikayo Idowu drowns in lake (PHOTOs)

US based footballer, Fikayo Idowu, 19, who plays as a defender for the Ohio State football club, drowned in a central Ohio lake on Friday June 24th. Idowu had gone to the Apple Valley lake to swim with his team mates when the sad incident occurred. A dive team searched for him for 45 minutes and eventually recovered his body from the lake. He was rushed to the Columbus hospital where he was certified dead

His coach John Bluem said Idowu was an “unbelievably good human being.”

Kidnapped expatriates from Calabar finally regain freedom

The 7 expatriate contractors, including three Australians and a South African, have been released unharmed 4 days after they were kidnapped by gunmen in Calabar, Cross River State, Reuters reports

The Cross River State Security Adviser SSA, Mr Jude Ngaji, who confirmed the report told CrossRiverWatch that the expatriates were released early today (Sunday) morning.

Ngaji debunked claims that ransom was paid for their release. He also disclosed that all the foreigners were released unhurt without any injury while the two Nigerians sustained minor injuries possibly from torture by the kidnappers.

Junaid Mohammed tells Buhari to Treat Niger Delta avengers as Boko Haram terrorists

Outspoken Northern politician, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, has asked President Muhamadu Buhari to treat the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, as terrorists and mete out appropriate military action against it as it is doing to Boko Haram insurgents in the north. 

Mohammed, who was a member of the last National Conference, told Vanguard in an interview on Sunday that it was wrong for the Buhari administration to try to appease the Niger Delta militants while still confronting a similar terrorist group in another part of the country. 

Kenneth Omeruo tag Nigeria World Cup Qualifying Group as "INTERESTING"

Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo has described the 2018 World Cup qualifying draw which sees Nigeria in Group B along with Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia as “interesting”. 

The draw, which held in Cairo, Egypt on Friday, pitted three-time African champions Nigeria in the same group as Africa’s best ranked team Algeria and former African champions Cameroon and Zambia. 

And reacting to the draw, Chelsea defender Omeruo said they must also prepare well for the qualifiers.
