Chinese company has beaten Amazon by delivering online goods by unmanned drone. E-commerce giants Jingdong has already begun using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to deliver goods to customers in rural areas. The drones can carry loads of up to 15 kilograms with a top speed of 15 meters per second.
Two drones are being used in Suqian City, east China’s Jiangsu Province, in areas with low populations and fewer order. The firm also hopes to increase the weight that can be transported by drone to 30kg.
