Indicted former Air Officer in charge of Tactical Air Command, Makurdi, Air Vice Marshal [AVM] Rufus Ojuawo has revealed to a Federal High Court in Abuja how the anti-graft body, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly strong-armed him into paying an odious sum of N40 million to secure his freedom from incarceration, ThisDay reports.
The complainant is currently under house arrest at House 27, Niger Barracks, Asokoro, Abuja on the orders of the EFCC. The accused also stated that his Range Rover SUV was forcefully taken from him by EFCC operatives against his will which is contrary to their report.
