Wiz Khalifa has filed a new lawsuit against former manager, Benjy Grinberg, and former label, Rostrum Records and also asking the court to end a ‘360-deal’

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, contends that Grinberg and Rostrum acted as “faithless fiduciaries in direct contravention of their obligations to him.”

Woman beheaded in Kano over Blasphemy

It was drama on Thursday evening in Kano as some angry Muslims youths decapitated a woman trader over allegations that she blasphemed Prophet Muhammad. 

According to Sahara Report, the victim, who was said to be of Igbo extraction was accused of blasphemy during a religious argument at Wambai market. 

The woman, who sells plastics at the local market was in the company of her husband when she was murdered.

Al-Shabab attack on Mogadishu hotel scores dead

A suicide car bomber crashed his vehicle into a gate outside a hotel in the Somali capital, and the attack was followed by gunfire, killing at least 10 people including two members of parliament, police said.

Al-Shabab fighters claimed responsibility for Wednesday's attack targeting Mogadishu's Ambassador Hotel, which is frequented by diplomats, government officials and Somalis visiting from abroad.

"We attacked the hotel with a car bomb and we went inside. We shall give details later," Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al-Shabab's military operations spokesman, told Reuters.

As of 17:00 GMT on Wednesday, authorities told Al Jazeera that special forces have taken control of the hotel compound, and rescued many people inside the hotel. But eyewitnesses contradicted the report saying the fighting is still ongoing.

In Abia State: Gunmen Shoot Two Policemen Dead

The gunmen who are still unknown and who are suspected to be kidnappers have shot dead two policemen on a street in Aba, Abia State, as they made to escape with a businessman they had abducted in the city.

Police Area Commander in charge of Aba, ACP Peter Wagbara, had mobilised his men to block suspected escape routes that the kidnappers who had abducted a businessman at Tenant road were going to take.  

Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Strike Benue Communities again, Murder 15 People

About 15 people have died after suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday invaded Igbongun com­munity in Tsaav Ward of Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. About five people died were killed in the community. 

It was gathered that the attack started last Sunday when the herdsmen struck in Tse Wankyor in the same Tsaav Ward and killed 10 and injured several others. Yesterday’s incident brings the death toll from the two at­tacks to 15.

It was gathered that the armed herders numbering over 50 invaded the community through the neigh­bouring Kente settlement in Tara­ba State at 11pm on Monday and unleashed terror on the people with their sophisticated weapons. The herdsmen also took away six motorcycles belonging to people from the community.

The Nigerian troops deployed in Operation LAFIYA DOLE and their neighbouring counterparts under the Multinational Joint Task Force have been very busy clearing the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in their respective areas of responsibilities. In the process, they were able to rescue quite a number of abducted persons, arrested suspected Boko Haram terrorists, recovered weapons and equipment.

The troops of 81 Battalion and 251 Task Force Battalion, 25 Task Force Brigade on 30th May 2016, received 79 persons who claimed to have been kept captives by Boko Haram terrorists at Ngwalimiri village but escaped at their location. They comprised 12 men, 24 women, 31 children and 12 infants. All of them are undergoing preliminary investigation and screening to determine their status before onward movement to Internally Displaced Persons camp for rehabilitation.

A 24-year-old Ugandan girl has brutally murdered a prominent 57-year-old businessman in the city after he took her inside to have s*x. The incident happened at Buwama trading center in central Uganda district of Mpigi.

Tentatively titled Rob & Chyna, the series will offer a look inside the couple’s relationship in the wake of their recent engagement and pregnancy announcement. Six hourlong episodes have been ordered, in addition to a special celebrating the forthcoming new arrival. The series is slated to debut later this year.

An ex-NYPD officer pleaded guilty Tuesday to buying a diamond ring with a credit card she found on the body of a dead Manhattan man, New York Post reports.

The report revealed that the former police officer identified as Ymmacula Pierre, 30, was charged with a misdemeanor theft rap and was sentenced to a conditional discharge. She previously agreed to resign from the NYPD.

Pierre was arrested in 2014 for using a dead man’s card to buy $3,200 in bling from an online jeweler.

Brazil teenage girl narrates horrific gang rape by dozens of men

A teenage girl who claims she was gang raped by dozens of men has broken her silence in a harrowing TV interview.

According to UK Mirror, The 16-year-old victim, who cannot be identified, spoke out on Brazilian television after she was allegedly attacked in a slum in Rio de Janeiro on 21 May.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the assault, which the victim says involved 33 men.

The abhorrent attack has sparked outrage across Brazil, with hundreds of protesters demonstrating outside the Justice Ministry building in Brasilia.
