The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has relieved two of the suspended lawmakers of their principal offices and also dismissed them from their various committees.
The decision is coming days after their suspension and other issues led to a crisis that resulted in fisticuffs.
During a sitting of the House members, the Speaker, Abdullahi Balarabe, made it clear that their dismissal was a decision of the All Progressives Congress’ caucus of the House which is the majority in the house. All suspended lawmakers are members of the party.
He said that two lawmakers had been appointed to occupy the principal offices and some others to chair their various committees.
