Michael Jackson’s estate has agreed to sell its remaining stake in a lucrative music catalog to Sony Corp. for $750 million, the entities announced Monday. This seem like a good business.

Well what we didn't know until now was the guy who is to manager him. The guy who has taken over from his elder brother Jude Okoye is Olatunde Michaels.

Olatunde has been around the blocks as a close friend of the Okoye brothers and he’s well known in the entertainment industry as well. Before taking up the full time job as Peter Okoye’s manager, he’s been with him for years. He’s currently the Managing Director of Playcenter Nigeria.

Fans of the P-Square duo, the popular Nigerian R&B group, on Tuesday in Abuja expressed disappointment towards moves by the awards winning identical twin brothers to path ways.

The reactions of the fans were sequel to the recent release of solo by P-Square-Peter Okoye on You-tube video showing him miming to a song titled “My Eyes’’ without vocals from his twin brother, Paul.

“These guys are not just family, they are twin. How can they allow money or women to separate them in such a way? It is appalling.

“I know they will struggle because the idea of identical twin that performs together is what attract us to them,’’ Danjuma said.

Frank Idowu, a club DJ said separation of the p-square would mean “doom and end of an era’’

“The guy, (Mr P) has not even released an album to see how the music would be accepted before thinking of going solo.

“I love the twin, so I will pay to attend any of their concerts.

“But if Peter dares to perform without Paul, I will throw my slippers at him from the crowd,’’ Idowu said.

It was alleged that attracted his colleagues to the scene by shouting “thief”. The mob gathered and started beating Ikechukwu after which they set him ablaze.

"I do not think that it is a question of not being prepared. Don't forget that the 2015 election was his fourth time of contesting, of making an attempt at being President. He tried to be president for 12 years. So, he had more than enough time to prepare himself if he had the capacity. So, it is not that he was not prepared. Gov Wike blast Amaechi, says he needs urgent psychiatric evaluation

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that former Governor Rotimi Amaechi was a failed governor who needs urgent psychiatric evaluation and treatment in apparent reaction to Amaechi’s appearance in a radio programme in Port Harcourt on Saturday.

Wike said Amaechi is monstrously corrupt; pointing out that after his litigation on his indictment by the judicial Commission of Inquiry, his (Amaechi’s) prosecution over the embezzlement of Rivers resources will take place.

The Former governor of Delta State, Felix Olorogun Ibru, is dead. Vanguard reports that the business tycoon passed on Saturday, March 12, at the age of 80 after a brief illness.

Until his death, he was the president general of the Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), as well as being on the board of several establishments.

Robbers attack police station and bank in Bayelsa

Yesterday a gang of unknown gunmen attack a police division in Ammassoma, in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

According to PUNCH, the suspected armed militants, who came in three speedboats, also attempted a raid on the branch of the United Bank for Africa in the area, destroying some of the bank’s Automated Teller Machines in the process.

So, Four women robbery squad have been arrested by Police in Kumasi after they robbed a taxi driver of his day’s sales.

Three were picked up by police in the metropolis after police interrogation smoked out their location from the first member, who was arrested just after the act.

The four have been identified as Agnes Darkoaa, a.k.a Maame Yaa or Last Killer, Ernestina Amponsah a.k.a. Akosua Frimpomaa, Mavis Addo a.k.a. Maame Konadu and Sally Sarpong a.k.a. Maame Serwaa. The four are reported to have robbed the taxi driver in Kumasi Wednesday night.

Two killed as explosion rocks Central Bank of Nigeria building, Calabar

Health workers at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital confirmed that two people were killed Friday by an explosion at the Central Bank of Nigeria building, Calabar, Cross River state.

According to report by Premium Times, A nurse in the hospital, who did not want his name mentioned because he was not authorised to speak, said that 13 victims of the explosion were brought to the hospital, and that one person was in critical condition.
