Taylor Swift seem very upset to what Katy Perry did to her and a new interview with Vanity Fair magazine She insisted she has no plans to build a bridge between her and the Katy because she ''betrayed'' her so badly.

She said ''I've trusted people before in friendships or relationships and have felt betrayed.

''If you betray your friend, if you will talk about them badly behind their back, if you will try to humiliate them or talk down to them, I have no interest in having a person like that in my life.''

President Buhari Appoints ExxonMobil Vice-chair as new NNPC GMD

President Buhari has appointed Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) According to a statement released by presidential spokesperson. Dr. Kachikwu, who was the Executive Vice Chairman and General Counsel of Exxon-Mobil (Africa), is to take over from Dr. Joseph Thlama Dawha.

Dr. Kachikwu hails from Onicha-Ugbo in Delta State. He is a first class graduate of Law from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the Nigerian Law School. The new NNPC Chief Executive also has Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Law from the Harvard Law School.

Brave California Police save a man's life by dragging him out of the way of an oncoming train

Two police officers saved a man from being hit from an oncoming train and the dramatic rescue was all caught on video. 

Dep. Lance Whitted, from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s office, pulled a driver to safety Monday night, just seconds before a commuter train came down the tracks in Sunnyvale, California. 

His partner, Dep. Erik Rueppel, tried to buy Whitted more time as he waved for the oncoming train to slow down.

President Buhari appoints Umaru Garba Danbatta as new NCC boss

President Buhari has approved the appointment of Professor Umaru Garba Danbatta as the new Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

El-Rufai Sacks ADC for allege Insurbordination

Governor of Kaduna State Malam Nasir el-Rufai last week sacked his Aide De Camp (ADC), ASP Abdullah Usman over allegations of insubordination.

El-Rufai had particularly asked the Police authority to appoint ASP Usman to work with him after winning the gubernatorial election.

It was gathered that ASP Usman worked with governor el-Rufa’i throughout the election campaigns, but was relieved of his duty in the Government House after being found guilty of many allegation of insubordination.

Man caught on camera trying to chew off fingerprints after arrest to avoid being fingerprinted

A Florida man attempted to chew off his fingerprints after been arrested in place in a patrol car to avoid being identified by the police.

On Thursday, Lee County Sheriff detectives noticed a 2015 Mercedes that had been reported stolen and after stopping the vehicle, they found the driver, Kenzo Roberts, was using a fake ID, had a concealed firearm and possessed three fraudulent credit cards.

Surveillance video shows Roberts unsuccessfully trying to bite off his own fingerprints while in the backseat of the patrol car.

Singers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale to divorce

Singer Gwen Stefani has filed for divorce from rockstar husband Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage.

According to TMZ and People.com, In her divorce petition, Stefani, 45, cited irreconcilable differences and asked for joint custody of the couple's three children, 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma and 1-year-old Apollo. Rossdale, 49, filed his response at the same time and also asked for joint custody.

Bad Boys actor Will Smith has tagged divorce romour as “foolishness” and has advice it should cease immediately. Recall, it was all over the media that the 46-year-old who has been married to actress Jada Pinkett Smith, 43, since 1997 and have children Jaden, 17, and Willow, 14, are in a divorce saga.

Gabonese President Chief-of-Staff arrested in Paris Airport

The Gabonese president's chief-of-staff was briefly detained in Paris Airport on Tuesday but was later release. According to the report the Chief of State was release after being briefly detained at a Paris airport on suspicion of corruption as he was about to fly back to Libreville.

Maixent Accrombessi, who is very close to Gabonese leader Ali Bongo Ondimba, was detained at Paris's main Charles de Gaulle airport "for corruption of a foreign public official", said a French judicial source, who wished to remain anonymous.

Ebola: China's foreign minister to visit Ebola-affected countries

In a statement on release on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry said, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi  will this week pay official visit to three of the African nations that has recorded the hardest hit by an outbreak of the Ebola virus.

Wang will leave on Saturday for a three-day visit to Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea, the ministry said in a brief statement, without giving further details.

President Buhari orders reduction of recurrent expenditure in 2016 budget

Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu in a statement yesterday said that President Buhari ordered the National Planning Commission to go back to the drawing board and produce the framework for the 2016 national budget that will reduce recurrent expenditure and prioritize developmental projects.

Shehu said the President gave the order after receiving a briefing from the Executive Secretary of the commission, Dr. Bassey Akpanyung, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
