Rihanna and Formula One ace go on secret date

Rihanna and Lewis Hamilton are having secret affair according to new gossip report. BBHMM hit maker and Formula One racing driver were spotted together on Saturday at New York restaurant Da Silvano before heading to a nightclub and have reportedly been dating for months.

A source said: "They've had a flirtation for years and have always fancied each other, but since May this year they've been talking a lot. Finally their schedules allowed them to spend a weekend in the same part of the world andthey made the most of it."

Swedish police arrest US rapper Snoop Dogg

US rapper Snoop Dogg was briefly arrested by Swedish police on suspicion of using illegal drugs, police sources said Sunday.

"Police carrying out roadside controls noticed that Snoop Dogg (whose car was pulled over) seemed to be under the influence of narcotics. He was arrested and taken to the police station to take a urine test," said Daniel Nilsson, a police spokesman for the central Uppsala region.

Timaya denies rape, says US-based accuser is blackmailing him

Timaya finally denial rape claim by Atlanta lady. Speaking exclusively with LIB, Timaya said it was consensual sex and the girl is now blackmailing him. Timaya admitted that he hooked up with the girl (pictured above) in his Atlanta hotel, but says she agreed to the sex.

He said the girl, who he has been talking to for about a year, contacted him when she found out he was in the US for his tour and bugged him to see him. He told her where he was and she came to see him. He said from the minute she entered the room, she started filming him.

He said after they finished having sex, the girl continued filming him and began asking him questions. He said she asked him if he enjoyed the sex and he said yes, then she asked him if she could follow him to his show and he said no that he's working...but that she could come later and he would tell his people to let her in. She then told him that they didn't use a condom, what if she gets pregnant? Timaya said he told her that he didn't want another baby, that he just got a baby.

Soldiers stopped Tompolo's meeting with MEND members, seal off meeting venue

Soldiers reportedly sealed off the Ijaw House, venue of the proposed meeting by MEND Members on the orders of the State Governor, Dickson Seriake. Sources at the governors office say Seriake had sent a letter to MEND members proposing to meet with them at a later date to discuss their grievances. The group, through its spokesperson, Eric Omare, released a statement condemning the soldiers invasion of Ijaw House.

NYSC bars nursing mothers, pregnant women and others from service

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has barred pregnant women, nursing mothers and Post graduate students from partaking in the national service across the country.

NYSC DG, Brig-Gen. Johnson Olawumi, said the exemption of people in these categories from service was because they would not be able to undergo the four cardinal programmes of the NYSC, which is mobilization, orientation, primary assignment and winding-up passing out parade.
