Chris Rock's wife wants to make fortune divorce

Recall in December last year Comedian Chris Rock confirmed he had filed for divorce from Malaak Compton-Rock, who he married in 1996. But now, his estranged wife is reportedly seeking a large part of his fortune.

Both Chris and his ex have two daughters together, Lola, 13, and 11-year-old Zahra and are currently thrashing out the terms of their split. While some areas have been easy to get in line - according to New York Post the former couple will split custody of their children equally - others are proving harder.

Club blame Ambulance driver for the death of Nigerian soccer player

A Nigerian T-Team captain David Oniya who is playing his football career at Malaysia reportedly collapsed on the pitch and later died due to negligence of the stationed ambulance driver, which was suppose to provide first aid.

David Oniya collapsed during a friendly at Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru and died at the hospital, much to the anger of his team.

T-Team captain David Oniya, 30, suffered an apparent heart attack on the pitch on Saturday. According to the New Straits Times, the ambulance driver was watching the match in the stands when Oniya collapsed.

Chris Brown finally give up chasing Karrueche

The long love fight between Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown has finally been put to rest after a series of post on Instagram.

According to the report, during a June 9 On Air with Ryan Seacrest interview, Chris said he still loves Karrueche and shared hopes of them being able to work through their problems in the future, but she is having none of it.

This is not something Kylie Jenner would want to be reading right now. Allison Brown, the woman who sued Tyga for $50,000 over an alleged sexual assault claims he still owes her $25,000.

She alleged the assault during a video shoot in 2011 for Tyga's single 'Make It Nasty' and although the 25-year-old rapper who is now dating reality TV star Kylie Jenner, 17 - settled the case out of court, it's claimed he still owes Allison half of the sum they agreed upon.

Beyonce in court for $7million lawsuit over stolen music

Beyonce and her company Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records have been taken to court over her hit 'XO' for $7 million after Ahmad Lane filed a federal lawsuit claiming she had stolen the music for the track. 

Ahmad alleges that Beyonce's current backing singer Chrissy Collins gave her a copy of his song 'XOXO' after he passed on the track to her when the pair were working together for another artist.

However, the Grammy Award-winner has vehemently denied the claims in court documents obtained by Radar Online.

Firefighters battle Ajah market fire in Lagos

Firefighters are currently battling to put out a fire that broke out in Ajah Market in Lagos. No one could ascertain what caused the fire, but an eyewitness, who called our correspondent on Sunday, explained that the fire started around 4.30pm.

“There is a fire right now in Ajah Market. It started about an hour ago. The firefighters are there to put it out,”said the caller, who identified himself as Mike, a vendor.

Actor Mel Gibson once again battle with ex over daughter

Mel Gibson is once again struggling with custody of his daughter with Ex. The Actor became father to little Lucia in 2009, during his relationship with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Following a bitter court battle, the pair were awarded joint custody of Lucia after their split. But now it seems Mel and Oksana will be making a return to court over where their daughter will be spending the summer months.

According to a report from LIB, a 400L student of Chemical Engineering, department of Ladoke Akintola, University of Technology LAUTECH Ogbomosho, Fatai Kolawole, slumped while playing a novelty match organized by his Department earlier this week. According to some of his colleagues, Fatai, who was still gasping for air, was quickly rushed to School Health Center where he later died.

PHCN Official escaped Electrocution at Victoria Island (photos)

According to LIB, a PHCN official was nearly electrocuted around 7pm yesterday on an electrical pole on Sanusi Fafunwa Street, Victoria Island. He was fortunately rescued by colleagues who were around when it happened. He was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where he’s receiving treatment.
