El Rufai’s Special Adviser Wanted for Fraud in the US – Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, Publisher of online newspapers, Sahara Reporters has branded Jimi Lawal, a former Managing Director of the defunct Alpha Merchant Bank and newly appointed Special Adviser to the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El Rufai as a “criminal and fugitive” running from the law.

Sowore, in an article published on Sahara Reporters on February 3rd, 2006 described Jimi Lawal as a fraudster who was wanted in the United States of America for fraud.

Student Boasts About Stabbing a Nigerian Teacher In Bradford on Facebook

14 year old Yusaf Khanny went on Facebook to boast  about stabbing a Nigeria Science teacher, Vincent Uzomah yesterday morning June 11 over a mobile phone. He has since been arrested.

It was taken in Chicago and the alleged assault is seen in the rear of a selfie taken by a girl. The photo has since been forwarded to Chicago Police for further investigation.

PHCN Official escaped Electrocution at Victoria Island (photos)

According to LIB, a PHCN official was nearly electrocuted around 7pm yesterday on an electrical pole on Sanusi Fafunwa Street, Victoria Island. He was fortunately rescued by colleagues who were around when it happened. He was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where he’s receiving treatment.

US provides $10.5m donation for IDPs in North East Nigeria (PHOTO)

The United States government has provided a sum of $10.5 million donation for the rehabilitation of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Northeast Nigeria. The grant was announced in a statement released by the USAID today June 11th.
