After one of their group member Zayn Malik decided to leave the group, One Direction has officially rebranded itself as a four-member group. The four-member group shared the photo on their media to rebrand themselves, also updating their bio on their website.

Breaking News! Somali ministry building under attack

Somalia's Higher Education Ministry in the centre of the capital Mogadishu has been hit by a large explosion followed by heavy gunfire, police have said.

Police said at least one person was killed in Tuesday's attack by suspected al-Shabab fighters.

Sources told Al Jazeera that gunmen were holed up inside the building

Major Ali Nur, a police officer, told Reuters news agency that he had seen one dead civilian and five injured, but said it was too early to know full casualty figures.

There was no immediate comment from al-Shabab, which frequently stages attacks in the country.

Chibok Girls alive ... They where last sighted about 3 weeks ago

More than 50 of the girls abducted by terrorist group Boko Haram in Chibok, Borno State, a year ago, were seen alive three weeks ago, a woman has told the BBC.

According to the woman whose name was not published by the British online news platform, the girls were seen in Gwoza before the Boko Haram militants were dislodged by the Nigerian military, backed by forces from neighbouring countries. The Islamist sect was believed to have made Gwoza its headquarters after it captured the town in August 2014.

The woman, who lived under Boko Haram’s rule in Gwoza, told the BBC that she saw the girls in Islamic attire, being escorted by the militants.

About 800,000 Children Displace as a Result of Boko Haram attack - UNICEF

UNICEF today, said no fewer than 800,000 children had fled their homes in the North-East because of the activities Boko Haram insurgents.

UNICEF’s Regional Director for West and Central Africa, Manuel Fontaine, told newsmen in Berlin that the number of child refugees had doubled in 2014.

Fontaine said the children fled to Chad, Niger and Cameroon and within Nigeria.

Paul Pogba might miss both leg of Juventus Champions League Match with Monaco

Juventus look set to be without Paul Pogba for both legs of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Monaco, coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed.

The France star was ruled out for up to seven weeks last month due to a hamstring injury, although there had been talk that he could be ready for the second leg with Monaco on April 22.

However, ahead of Tuesday's first leg in Turin, Allegri explained he was likely to have to do without Pogba for both games.

INEC declares Imo Governorship election inconclusive

INEC has declared the Imo State Governorship election between APC candidate, incumbent governor Rochas Okorocha and PDP candidate, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, inconclusive.

According to INEC results announced in Owerri yesterday, the APC candidate polled 385,671, while the PDP candidate polled 306,142.
