Mexican forces capture Zetas Cartel leader

Mexican security forces have captured the leader of Los Zetas, one of the country's largest and most violent drug cartels, in an upper-class suburb of the northern city of Monterrey.

Omar Trevino Morales, known as "Z-42", was detained by federal police and soldiers in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon state on Wednesday, officials have said.

Trevino, 41, took the helm of the Zetas after his brother, Miguel Angel Trevino, or "Z-40," was captured by marines in the northeastern state of Tamaulipas in July 2013.

The US State Department had offered a $5 million reward for information leading to Omar Trevino's arrest. Mexican authorities offered a $2m bounty.

ANSADEM Group Threatens Mass Action "If Obanikoro is Confirms as a Minister By Senate"

Group know as the All Nigeria Save Democracy Movement, ANSADEM, has issued a strong statement to the Nigerian Senate that if it confirms Senator Musiliu Obanikoro to a ministerial post, it will face mass action.

The warning was conveyed by the group at a press conference held Tuesday at the Centre for Constitutional Governance in Ilupeju, Lagos State.

Comrade Adebayo, the convener of the group, read the press statement saying “confirming Senator Musiliu Obanikoro as minister would be tantamount to a big disservice to the fatherland and a direct attack on Nigeria’s democracy”.

“We call on the Senate to exercise a great sense of responsibility and leadership by first probing the involvement of Senator Obanikoro in that shameful saga before screening him for a ministerial post”.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described outbursts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the possible removal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega as "mere comedy," saying; "President Goodluck Jonathan can sack Jega if he wishes and if he does, heavens will not fall."

The governor, who said the APC should stop acting as if Nigeria belongs to the party, added that; "by turning themselves to advocates and defenders of the INEC chairman, the APC and its agents have shown that they have a deal with Jega to manipulate the elections and that the deal will be frustrated if he is asked to leave office."

Chris Brown is a dad of "Nine Months Old Baby Girl"

Chris Brown has secretly fathered a child. Brown who is currently in relationship with model Karrueche Tran - is reportedly the proud father of a nine-month-old baby girl, and though he is on ''very good terms'' with the youngster's mother, a 31-year-old model named Nia, they are not together.

Sources told website TMZ that Chris, 25, is ''happy'' about being a father and has known Nia for several years.

It does not appear there is an official child support order in place between the pair.

A representative for the 'Loyal' hitmaker hasn't commented on the claims.
