Two Injured after shot in nightclub party featuring T.I., Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti

Report from CNN says two persons were shot on Saturday at a nightclub party in Charlotte, North Carolina, featuring rappers T.I., Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti.

Both victims are expected to survive, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a news release. Police are searching for a suspect.

"Preliminary information and evidence gathered on the scene indicates that an unidentified suspect fired several shots from inside the club striking the two victims," Charlotte police said in a news release. "This is an ongoing, active investigation."

Buhari congratulates Pastor E.A. Adeboye as He turn 73

The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye on his 73rd birthday.

The APC presidential candidate described Pastor Enoch Adeboye as a peace-loving citizen, in a statement released by the Directorate of Media and Publicity of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO).

Nigeria Defence Headquarters release statement on Monday that troops were dominating operations in Kukawa, Geri, Gujba in Yobe to dislodge terrorists from their hideouts in the communities.

“Troops are dominating operations in Kukawa, Geri, Gujba in Yobe, to rid the terrorists on Sunday,” a statement posted on the Defence Headquarters’ website said.

According to the DHQ, the Nigerian troops on Sunday night invaded Kukawa Geri, Gujba in Yobe and were determined to flush out the insurgents from their remaining hideouts.

Nigerian genius, Saheela Ibraheem, 19, made history last week, when she was honoured with an official reception in the White House by the US President, Barack Obama and the First Lady, Michelle.

Saheela Ibraheem has been recognized as one of the World's 50 smartest teenagers in 2015. Saheela, a neurologist undergraduate in Harvard was invited to the White house where she met with the Obamas who celebrated her great feat last Thursday Feb. 26th. She was one of those celebrated by the US government to mark 'The Black History Month".

Saheela got admitted into the Ivy League school at the age of 15 and at the time of her admission was also offered a letter of acceptance by 13 other top colleges in the United States, including six Ivy League institutions. She however chose Harvard, making her one of the youngest students to ever attend the university. Saheela will be graduating in May this year.

Aliya Saleem, of Jharkhand, India, was born at a relatively large 9lbs, then began to rapidly gain weight from the age of four months - and is now as heavy as an average six-year-old girl.

Her parents are worried about her health, after another of their children died aged just one-and-a-half after gaining weight in a similar fashion.

Report: ISIS releases 19 Assyrian Christian hostages

ISIS militants in northern Syria released 19 Assyrian Christian hostages Sunday, an activist group said.
