Choi! I just wonder if this is natural. A ten-month-old baby has weighed in at a whopping 2st 13lbs - making her one of the heaviest children in the world for her age.

Aliya Saleem, of Jharkhand, India, was born at a relatively large 9lbs, then began to rapidly gain weight from the age of four months - and is now as heavy as an average six-year-old girl.

Her parents are worried about her health, after another of their children died aged just one-and-a-half after gaining weight in a similar fashion.

The girl's mother Shabana Parveen, 25, said:

Report: ISIS releases 19 Assyrian Christian hostages

ISIS militants in northern Syria released 19 Assyrian Christian hostages Sunday, an activist group said.

According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, all but one of the hostages were among the at least 220 Assyrians captured on February 23 during an attack on villages in the northern Syrian province of al-Hasakah.

Did you see this movie "The Sound of Music"? If not I urge you to look for the dvd and go watch it and come thank me later, can't believe its already 50 years old. Wow, just saw an article on one of my favorite movies of all time. Anytime I would love to re-watch this movies over and over again. But the big questions here is where are those people from the movie today? Fifty years after its premiere, "The Sound of Music" is still among millions of fans' favorite things.

The Julie Andrews film, about the von Trapp family and its "problem" governess, Maria, is beloved enough to have spawned audience singalongs. The performers who played the von Trapp children remain close, doing joint interviews and publishing a book. The film even prompted a live NBC musical, which -- though it was roasted by critics -- still managed stupendous ratings.

NHRC: "28 Policemen Killed By Political Thugs In One Month"

Maestro Perostar's Blog support the campaign #VoteNotFight! Chairman, Governing Board of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Chidi Anselem Odinkalu, on Friday, charged President Goodluck Jonathan and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, to stop their supporters from the killing of innocent Nigerians and policemen ahead of the general elections in the country.

According to Odinkalu, more than 28 policemen were killed by suspected political thugs in February alone.

He said this in Abuja when the Ekiti State government and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state were at that NHRC to drop their response to the allegations by the Ekiti State chapter of the APC that Governor Ayo Fayose was sponsoring the killings of opposition members in the state. UNICEF Donates School Bags to Displace Nigeria Children

The United Nations children body, UNICEF, has distributed 5,800 school bags and 15 ultra-modern tents to displaced children of school age under the Safe School Initiative.

Presenting the materials, the representative of UNICEF, Bauchi Zonal office, Maryam Dikwa, said the gesture was to assist teeming displaced children further their education.

Ms. Dikwa urged the state government to ensure fair distribution of the materials for the benefit of the displaced pupils.

In his speech, the Commissioner of Education in the state, Alikidon Voh, thanked UNICEF for the intervention.

With report that our Nigeria Military has recapture majority of the towns held by Boko Haram Group, President Goodluck Jonathan has said that he was excited seeing the people displaced by members of the Boko Haram sect returning to their homes after the Nigerian troops recaptured the towns affected by the terrorist activities.

He said the sight was fulfilling to him. Jonathan made his feeling known in a Facebook posting a few hours after paying a surprise visit to some territories recently recaptured from the insurgents in Adamawa and Borno states.

The visit took Jonathan to Mubi in Adamawa State and Baga in Borno State.

The President said he was proud of the patriotism and valour displayed by the nation’s soldiers.

Doctors Find Bullet Lodge in Teen's Head who Complained of Headache

Wonders will never end, so over these years he has been living with a bullet in his head? That's a Miracle, cause he has survive it all through. According to gasket, when 19-year-old Juanye Jones visited a Daytona Beach hospital Wednesday night, his chief concern was his nagging headache. Doctors ended up finding something a bit more serious, however: a fragmented bullet lodged in his head.

Jones was apparently one of three bystanders hit during a shooting at Bethune-Cookman University Monday night. Reportedly thinking he had just been grazed in the shooting, the teen didn't seek treatment until days later.
