Sharon Osbourne is ''proud'' of her daughter for quitting 'Fashion Police'. The 62-year-old television personality praised Kelly for walking away from the show - which she has co-hosted since 2011 - insisting that the 30-year-old star ''can never be bought''.

She wrote: ''@KellyOsbourne, I am so proud of you. You can never be bought.

''You always wear your heart on your sleeve. #ProudToBeYourMum (sic)''

Kelly's exit from the show comes just days after her co-host Giuliana Rancic was forced to apologise for making ''outrageously offensive'' comments about Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks.

According to a statement signed by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs of FAAN, Yakubu Datti, on Friday, the assessment will be conducted with a Bomb Simulated Exercise 10 am and 11 am.

This, according to Mr. Datti, is an essential requirement that has to be fulfilled for certification by the International Civil Aviation Organisation‎.

FIFA cancels Nigeria, Ghana friendly bid to hold in London

Haba! Ghana again, before it was the Brazil friendship that was cancelled, now our neighbouring country again? Fans hoping to watch the Super Eagles take on the Black Stars of Ghana in a friendly planned for London on March 29 will have to wait longer as the world football governing body, FIFA, has cancelled the game as it fails to comply with the regulations of the world body.

The proposed friendly fell short of the directive by FIFA which clearly states that no country should play two games across two continents in three days.

NHRC: "28 Policemen Killed By Political Thugs In One Month"

Maestro Perostar's Blog support the campaign #VoteNotFight! Chairman, Governing Board of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Chidi Anselem Odinkalu, on Friday, charged President Goodluck Jonathan and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, to stop their supporters from the killing of innocent Nigerians and policemen ahead of the general elections in the country.

According to Odinkalu, more than 28 policemen were killed by suspected political thugs in February alone.

He said this in Abuja when the Ekiti State government and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state were at that NHRC to drop their response to the allegations by the Ekiti State chapter of the APC that Governor Ayo Fayose was sponsoring the killings of opposition members in the state. Odinkalu said that the commission would look into the petitions dispassionately.

Kelly Osbourne Officially Quits Fashion Police

Just few week ago it was all over the media that Kelly is threatening to quit E! reason for this was not known then. But it is now officiall as E! can confirm that Kelly Osbourne has quit 'Fashion Police'.

The 30-year-old star, who has worked on the E! series since 2011, has walked away from the show just days after co-host Giuliana Rancic was forced to apologize to Disney star Zendaya Coleman for making an ''outrageously offensive'' comment about her dreadlocks.

The network confirmed the news in a statement on Friday (02.27.15), saying: ''Kelly Osbourne is departing E!'s 'Fashion Police' to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. 'Fashion Police' will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.''

The lilac-haired star threatened to quit on Twitter earlier this week after Giuliana's controversial comments about her friend Zendaya, 18.

UNICEF Donates School Bags to Displace Nigeria Children

The United Nations children body, UNICEF, has distributed 5,800 school bags and 15 ultra-modern tents to displaced children of school age under the Safe School Initiative.

Presenting the materials, the representative of UNICEF, Bauchi Zonal office, Maryam Dikwa, said the gesture was to assist teeming displaced children further their education.

Ms. Dikwa urged the state government to ensure fair distribution of the materials for the benefit of the displaced pupils.

In his speech, the Commissioner of Education in the state, Alikidon Voh, thanked UNICEF for the intervention.

With report that our Nigeria Military has recapture majority of the towns held by Boko Haram Group, President Goodluck Jonathan has said that he was excited seeing the people displaced by members of the Boko Haram sect returning to their homes after the Nigerian troops recaptured the towns affected by the terrorist activities.

He said the sight was fulfilling to him. Jonathan made his feeling known in a Facebook posting a few hours after paying a surprise visit to some territories recently recaptured from the insurgents in Adamawa and Borno states.

The visit took Jonathan to Mubi in Adamawa State and Baga in Borno State.

The President said he was proud of the patriotism and valour displayed by the nation’s soldiers.

Ebonyi State House of Assembly Members on Friday morning served an impeachment notice on Governor Martin Elechi over what it described as act of gross misconduct by the Governor.

Reading the notice at the plenary, the acting leader of the House, Hon. Francis Nwifruru accused the Governor of huge financial misappropriation, undermining of the integrity of the House, among other offences.
